THIS JUST IN...
The Misadventures of Johnny Northshide has just been
forwarded a tip that North Minneapolis blogger, John Hoff aka Johnny Northside
has been cited by the city of Minneapolis for unpermitted repairs and fined
$200.
John Hoff, who has been renting out his Hawthorne neighborhood house
without a rental license for the past year, made boiler and plumbing repairs in
2008 without obtaining the required permits. He is endangering lives by renting
out his house without a rental inspection or a license. Now the City
of Minneapolis has taken action to close down his unlicensed rental property.
John Hoff is now officially a "SLUMLORD".
This blog reported on August 2, 2012 that Hoff was operating a rental property without a rental license (click here for that story). Hoff has publicly gone after landlords who have had rentals without a rental license since he started his blog in 2008.

This really shows what everyone has known and that is that John Hoff is nothing but a fraud.
He is no neighborhood revitalizer, he just uses that as an excuse to get publicity. Not only is Hoff a media whore who loves attention, he is a documented sociopath who stalks his neighbors in order to write headlines about them and retaliate against those that dare disagree with him.
Hoff is a guy who thinks the rules only apply to others. He calls in housing code violations on his neighbors while the entire time he has owned his Hawthorne home he has been violating housing code himself, and has been previously cited for several violations.
Now we find out he has an unlicensed rental property with code violations.
JOHN HOFF IS NOTHING BUT A FRAUD, A HYPOCRITE, AND A DOUCHEBAG THAT NO ONE WANTS IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD.
