"Bumbling Brothers" To Be Together Again Soon

The surviving Bumbling Brother, Sam was brought home today after a week long stay at the vet where he was treated for Kidney Failure.
The conclusion was reached today that Sam's condition was no longer treatable and the vet said since he is not in any pain, is still eating and would be more comfortable resting at home for what looks like will be his last hours or maybe, days with me.

In late 2006, I had lost my long-time golden retriever, Bo and I contacted the Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas. I was introduced to two goldens, Sam & Alex who were litter-mate brothers and both had recently been treated for heartworm. The rescue wanted to keep them together because of their close bond and I agreed to adopt them.

Soon after adopting them, their goofy and clumsy personalities made me call them the "Bumbling Idiots." A few family members thought that was too harsh for them and that is when they officially became known as "The Bumbling Brothers".
I have never seen or heard about two dogs who have gotten along with each other as well as they did. I don't recall a single time when either of them so much as growled at the other. Sam & Alex were best friends and they had been through a lot before the rescue got to them. They appeared to love their time they had with me after I adopted them and I always enjoyed seeing them happily "bumbling" about.

In July of 2010, Alex died. He had cancer and no one ever knew about it until the tumor ruptured and bled internally. Alex was cremated and his remains have been close by both me and his brother, Sam.
The past 5 and a half months have been difficult for Sam as it was obvious that he missed his brother. Even without his brother here, Sam continued to be the fun, loving friend, although I could see that Sam was slowing down and I assumed the loss of Alex was taking its toll on him.

When I look at Sam now, I see a very sick dog and I am guessing he has only hours or maybe a few short days to live. While I am feeling the impending loss more and more as the hours pass by, there is one thought that I keep telling myself that seems to help me with feeling better and accepting the loss that is closing in.
As soon as Sam takes his final breathe and leaves his tired body behind, I know that there will be two dogs who were life-long, happy brothers, separated for nearly 6 months when Alex died but, with Sam's passing I can only imagine how happy and thrilled Sam & Alex will be knowing they won't be alone ever again.

I am going to miss Sam a lot. I hold out hope that I will see him again after I die but, it won't just be Sam I will be eager to be with again. There, beside him will be his loyal brother, Alex waiting there to greet me.
Whenever that day comes, I am going to be among good company... I will be back with "The Bumbling Brothers."

No Good Deed Goes Un-Punished - Saving a Cat Really Bites!

This past week was a rough week overall for me, the Anti-Johnny. This post is a rare step away from the dealings and mis-dealings of Johnny Northside & Company in North Minneapolis.
About 1000 miles south of the corruption in NoMi, I decided to tell the story of the utter, emotional and physical roller coaster week I just endured.

Most people who have followed this blog or knows me personally know that one of my life-long interests has been my owning dogs. They are so much more reliable and trustworthy (and loyal) than any one person I have ever met. So, when something happens with one of my dogs, everything in my day to day life gets put on hold until the issue is tended to.
This past Tuesday, December 21, 2010, I decided it was time to take my golden retriever, Sam (he and his late brother Alex are referred to as the "Bumbling Brothers"), to the vet after he had gone several days without being able to keep anything he ate down.

I am telling people what happened with Sam this past week to lead into the main story.
The vet diagnosed Sam as being in kidney failure and needed to be left there if I chose to have them treat him versus putting him to sleep (which was suggested due to the advanced stage of the illness).
The vet sent me home after telling me to prepare for putting him to sleep when I come back the next day because, Sam's blood test revealed lethal levels of toxins in his blood stream and that he was stunned Sam was alive with such high levels of toxins present.

That was hard for me to face and I still have a hard time dealing with the loss of Sam's brother who passed away this past summer. I have had three dogs now for years and within a 6 month period, I was faced with having only one still with me.
I got a bit of a Christmas present this morning when I got a call from the vet who has been treating Sam all week (after I asked him to) and he told me that the blood test results he took this morning shows there has been little improvement but, he has continued to eat and he suggested I bring Sam home as he will be more comfortable with me and my other dog for the short amount of time he has left. As long as he is not in pain and is not suffering, I refuse to put him to sleep when I can spend that time with him and make his last days as nice as possible.

Before I got to today, I went to the vet's office on Thursday (23rd) to visit Sam and when I got out of my car, I saw three older people trying to get a kitten to come out from under a car. I offered to help and when I got down on the ground to reach for it.... The Cat took off!
The owner of the cat (looked to be in her mid-70's) watched frantic as it ran towards a 45 degree, concrete drainage wall that led to the creek about 15 feet down from where we were in the parking lot.

I was the only one there who was in shape enough to take off after the cat. It ran down the wall and jumped to the other side of the creek where it narrowed. This was about 9:30 in the morning and it had been in the lower 30's the night before and had not warmed up much at all. The creek water was freezing cold and I just hoped that the cat wouldn't fall in as it was running right at the edge of the water.

About 150 yards from where we started from, I saw some huge rocks ahead of us that the cat wouldn't be able to get past. Either I would catch it or it would have to jump over the water about 6-7 feet to the other side. As I got closer to it, the cat jumped toward the other side. It landed in the middle of the creek where the current swept it further away and pushed the cat under several fallen branches near the shore but, it was clearly trapped.

With the cat being about the size of an adult squirrel, I knew it would not take long for the cold water to render the cat unable to move and would die soon after. I jumped over the water but, landed about a foot from the shore (yes it was COLD) and reached for the kitten's tail. I pulled it out from under the branches and picked it up by the rough of its neck and out of the water.
The other people were walking along the top of the wall to get to where I was and I yelled for them to get the cat carrier and to throw it down to me. The wall had leaves all over it and with one hand holding the cat, there was no way I could climb up that wall.

A few seconds later the cat started to wriggle around trying to get away and it made me use my free hand to adjust the cat when.... The little kitten, with razor sharp claws and equally sharp baby fangs, BIT ME!
I jerked the cat and it let go but, it was only to get a better grip and I could only stand there (screaming from the pain as well) as I watched its fangs dig into my middle finger down to the bone!
To make the pain even worse... It didn't let go for more than 10 seconds. That pain was intense!
I wanted to slap the cat against the rocks I was standing on but, with the owner looking on in panic, I decided to not let go of the cat.

A minute later the carrier was tossed down to me, I got the cat in it and pushed it up the wall and carried it inside the vet's office. When I set the carrier down, several employee's came to me and took me to a sink to clean the bites and stop the bleeding. About 10 minutes after they had it cleaned and poured iodine on it (THAT hurt like hell also), I pulled out my phone and took a picture of my hand.

The old woman was overly thankful for me saving the cat and even told me that it was a very sweet, loving cat. Of course, I held up my hand to protest her opinion. The vet told me that cat bites can become infected easily and told me to go to a doctor as soon as I left. The owner offered me some money for the medical costs but, I refused it since, she never asked me to chase after her cat and it was my choice to go after it.
She thanked me and left. When I was leaving myself, the receptionist gave me a $100 bill and told me that the old woman had left it with her to give to me so, I would have to take it.

So far the bites have not become infected and the pain has mostly gone away but.... Being that I am a dog person and never cared for cats before... I don't think I will be so quick to take off chasing another cat that gets loose anytime soon.

I did wonder after all of this happened if Johnny Northside would ever even think of doing something like I did? My vote is that John would rather blog about a courageous cat that was lost after "getting away" from him and blah blah blah lol.

Jeff Skrenes & Fraud: Where There's Smoke... There is Fire

Jeff Skrene's was officially given a "pink slip" by the Minneapolis City Council. I would love to see a copy of his resume when he starts looking for a new job (if he already hasn't) to see what he lists as job duties with being the Hawthorne Housing Director. It doesn't take a lot of talent to point to an old, run down house that is falling apart and say to his former employers, "That one! Run that one over with a bulldozer!"

Let's take a little look at the two jobs Jeff had before his stint as "Jeff Skywalker" in Hawthorne...

I find it typical that Jeff rants about fraud and points his finger at everyone else, accusing them of being fraudsters considering his last job was with ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). ACORN is a huge special interest group that turned out to be guilty of voter registration fraud and

Makes me wonder if Jedi Jeff will even list ACORN on his resume after working for those fraudsters.

 

Before ACORN, Jeff worked for US Bank as a mortgage originator. Investopedia defines that as: "An institution or individual that works with a borrower to complete a mortgage transaction."

Lenders! This country is in the biggest real estate crash in history mainly because, lenders issued bad loans. To put it another way, banks gave loans to people who had no business getting a mortgage, then they defaulted on the payments and the lender had to foreclose. The government keeps trying to bail the banks out of the mess they created and amazingly, the people who approved these bad loans are not in jail!

 

To Summarize Jeff's work history...

*Worked for the fraudsters ACORN

*Worked for US Bank who issued their share of bad loans

*Currently working for the Hawthorne Neighborhood & all the Johnny Northisde frauds that come with it

Minneapolis City Council Votes to Cut Hawthorne Neighborhood Funding & Jeff Skrenes

Jeff Skrenes aka the Hawthorne Hawkman, is facing the unemployment line. The Minneapolis City Council voted this week to cut neighborhood funding and that includes the Hawthorne Housing Director… Jeff Skrenes.


The cuts included giving pink slips to fire fighters and police officers but, three council members voted against the cuts. Surely Barb Johnson and Don Samuels who represent North Minneapolis voted against the cuts… Right?

Nope.

Barb & Don ignored the pleas of Jeff Skywalker and voted to make neighborhood funding go away. Jeff has been one of Samuels’ biggest supporters during his tenure so, it will be entertaining to watch the public display of displeasure Jeff and his pal, Johnny Northside unleash onto Samuels and the rest of the council now that they have effectively shown Jeff how much they appreciate his efforts to collect phone books, call 911, call 311 and blog continuously (even on company time) about the shit-hole they live in.

Evidence That Cities and Residents Should Have the Right To Protect Themselves Against John Hoff

Word on the street is that John Hoff aka Johnny Northside is now an enlisted man in the National Guard. One can argue that it is the closest thing he has had to a real job in years. The thought of John Hoff being in the military is a scary one. The National Guard is brought in to help restore public order.
Public order. John Hoff. Is it legal to say those two things in the same sentence? John Hoff, afterall is a public menace. John Hoff claims to be an activist working on turning North Minneapolis into an "Urban Utopia" but, Utopia is not what Hoff has made of things he has been involved with in his past.

Remember when John was elected to the Grand Forks city council? Remember when John was recalled within a few months because of his unruly behavior? Did John accept it and go away quietly? Nope. He complained above the council while saying that they held a meeting that was not legal. Here is the response he got...

On June 23, 2000, this office received a request for an opinion under N.D.C.C. § 44-04-21.1 from John Hoff asking whether the Grand Forks City Council violated N.D.C.C. §§ 44-04-19, 44-04-19.2, and 44-04-20 by holding an executive session which was not authorized by law or sufficiently identified in the notice of the meeting and by failing to sufficiently announce the topics and legal authority for holding the executive session.

John Hoff does things that get him in trouble. No matter how minor it is like, say a citation for SITTING ON A SIDEWALK! John took it to trial and lost. He appealed and then took it to the Washington State Court of Appeals before losing again. The actual document is pages and pages long so I have cut out the fat and copied the jist of it. John Hoff, an advocate for Seattle's homeless, were cited under the “Seattle sitting ordinance,” SMC 15.48.040, for sitting on the sidewalk in the University District.   They challenge the ordinance on several state constitutional grounds.

Hoff argues that the officers violated Washington's ban on discrimination against persons with disabilities when they cited him.

Hoff was cited while sitting reading a book and leaning against a building with leaflets advertising a protest against the ordinance in his lap.   They had separate trials in municipal court.   The Hoff court heard testimony and allowed extensive argument on his constitutional claims, and the McConahy court accepted much of this record.   Both courts found that the defendants violated the ordinance and rejected their free expression and substantive due process claims.   The two cases were joined for appeal.


1) Hoff and McConahy first contend that the sitting ordinance violates their substantive due process rights under the Washington State Constitution.   They argue that it violates art.   I, § 1, because it is an unreasonable exercise of police power which infringes upon their individual liberties.


2) Hoff and McConahy contend that this section prohibits governments from enacting legislation which detracts from individual liberties.   They argue that this section embodies the fundamental predicate underlying the Washington Constitution protecting individual liberties, and the Seattle ordinance violates it.   But they cite no authority for the proposition that art.


3) They also argue that the ordinance violates their fundamental right to “move about or stand still.”


4) Appellants argue that because the Washington Constitution provides greater protection to individual rights than does the federal constitution, we should apply a correspondingly more protective analysis when considering legislation which impacts these liberties.


5) Hoff and McConahy argue that, despite the City's valid interests, their interest in being left alone while they are engaged in essentially innocent activity outweighs those the ordinance is designed to protect.


6) Hoff and McConahy argue that the ordinance does not appreciably further the City's interests because it could have relied upon the pedestrian interference ordinance 3 to address the problems associated with people sitting on the sidewalk


7) Hoff and McConahy next contend that the ordinance impermissibly burdens their right to free expression under art. I, § 5 of the Washington State Constitution


8) Hoff argues that he was engaged in expressive conduct because he was handing out leaflets announcing a protest against the ordinance.   The trial court found otherwise.   It acknowledged that he had leaflets in his lap but found that he was not trying to distribute them.   Rather, he was leaning against a building reading a book.


9) Hoff argues that sitting was essential to his protest against the sitting ordinance and that he could more effectively leaflet from a supplicant position.

10) Hoff and McConahy argue that the ordinance is  unconstitutionally overbroad because it restricts more expression than needed to achieve its legislative purpose

11) Hoff's and McConahy's next contention is that the ordinance disparately effects poor or homeless and violates the state Privileges and Immunities Clause.4  They argue that the ordinance disproportionately effects the homeless and poor because they cannot afford to patronize commercial establishments or have a home to go to and are therefore more likely to have to sit on the sidewalk


12) Hoff finally contends that the officers violated RCW 49.60.030, Washington's ban on discrimination against persons with disabilities, when they cited him for sitting.   He claims that he has a disability that requires him to sit and rest periodically and often must sit on the sidewalk where there is no bench or park.   SMC 15.48.040 exempts persons using wheelchairs or having a medical emergency.   Hoff counters that his disability is not so severe that he must use a wheelchair or that it qualifies as a medical emergency, but that it nonetheless requires him to sit.

While Hoff did testify that his injury requires him to sit and rest, several officers also testified that he walked to the store for a soda and that he was able to get up and approach the police officers numerous times.   Further, there is no evidence that the City ticketed him because he had a disability.   Rather, there is ample evidence that officers ticketed him because he persisted in sitting on the sidewalk after they warned him that he was violating the ordinance.

I’m a disabled vet, rated at 30% for an injury I received while working as an Army medic. One of my legs is now half an inch shorter then the other, except when it pops, painfully, out of my hip. For this, I receive $364 a month, though something like $26 of that is because I have one dependent, my nine-year-old son.


I’d love to get back into the army, reserves, or national guard. To get back in, I’d need waivers because I’m not physically fit and, to some degree, not capable of becoming physically fit. There are some things that, due to my service-connected disability, I will never be able to do.


However, if I were to go back into the military, I’d have to give up my $364 a month.

I left the military in the spring of 1994 with my left leg permanently and seriously injured restraining a violent patient who was probably loaded up on PCP. So I ran to enlist in the Army, but I limped out.

He limped out? He limped all the way to crawl up the Governments ass until they gave him some money. I assume it was to shut him up. AHAHAHAHA Right! Like that will ever happen!

Who Could Attack a Person Who Just Lost Three Relatives? Only Johnny Northside!

I admit that I have not bothered to read any of what JNS has been blogging about in the past few weeks. When I read things that he rants about, it usually annoys me enough to post something to voice my opinion but, I haven't lately.

Today I can't ignore what he actually said to a person who just lost three family members in a senseless car crash. Senseless. That is a perfect word to use to describe John Hoff's words he threw at the victim's relative who had submitted comments in response to the post John published on his blog. Here is the link to the posting on his site and be sure to read the comments that follow as John goes out of his way to defend himself for bashing the relative who commented.

Oh... John did not publish the relatives comments because... He doesn't take someone serious when they have the words, "wooden slurpy" in their email address.
In my opinion, I can't take anything serious that has John Hoff, Johnny Northside or John Willard Hoff anywhere near what I am reading. If I was to write about an accident where someone died and someone claiming to be a relative submitted comments that had "Santa Claus" included in their email address.... Guess what??? I publish the comments and at the very least I would try to contact that person and try to make sure it wasn't a prank. The LAST thing I would do and I would think just about ANYONE who claims to be a journalist would NOT do, would be to openly bash the commenter and place the burden of proof on them!

John Hoff is simply a world-class jackass who never seems to learn that there are times when he should shut his pie hole of a mouth and give someone the benefit of the doubt and maybe he might start to be taken more seriously than the likes of Geraldo Rivera!

Anyone who would like to offer their opinion on Hoff's cold words to the relative is encouraged to submit them on this blog and I can guarantee that I won't attack you or your credibility. I leave that to Hoff.

Hypocrite Hoff At It Again!

 'Ol Johnny Northside aka John Hoff, is back to his 2-faced ways again in Minneapolis. Recently John begged the judge presiding over the civil case Jerry Moore filed against him to delay the start of the trial. Yet, John spent the better part of two days sitting in a courtroom in support of his equity skimming pal, councilman Don Samuels. Samuels was in court as a result of a lawsuit filed by former Mayoral candidate, Al Flowers. John Hoff's blog, has been posting up a storm about Al Flowers in recent days and the latest post Click Here on the blog is nothing more than John taking another shot at someone (Flowers) who is against him or one of his pals (Samuels).

I have previously posted about the time when John lived in Seattle and was cited for sitting on a sidewalk during a time that was not allowed.
Did John not know about the no-sitting ordinance and his timing simply unlucky when he got the ticket? Hardly. Make no mistake about it, follks... John "the hypocrite" Hoff, knew full well about the ordinance (See text below in red) and was there to stir up trouble and after he was ticketed he wasted the courts time by appealing the lower courts ruling to the Washington State Court of Appeals. Seattle's Sidewalk Ordinance Upheld

SEATTLE - The state Court of Appeals upheld the constitutionality of Seattle's sidewalk ordinance yesterday.

Sarah McConahy, a formerly homeless youth, and John Hoff, an advocate for Seattle's homeless, were cited in 1994 for sitting on the sidewalk in the University District. McConahy was sitting with friends, eating and sometimes panhandling, and wearing a button that said: "Sitting is not a crime." Hoff was sitting reading a book with leaflets in his lap advertising a protest against the ordinance.

The two had separate municipal court trials. Each was found to have violated the sidewalk ordinance.
McConahy and Hoff joined together to appeal the decision, alleging that the ordinance violated the state constitution, including their rights to free speech and due process.

The 1994 ordinance bans sitting or lying on public sidewalks in commercial areas from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

John bashes Al Flowers for filing frivolous lawsuits and proceeds to bash him in public on his Blog YET, John decided that an ordinance was stupid and goes and gets himself a ticket so he can make himself an attention whore in the press while he tries to prove the law itself was stupid.
Did anyone notice that John didn't make his case about the law to those who made the law rather, John violated the law on purpose so he could exploit the law AND get his name in the paper!

Johnny Northside - He's Baaaaaaack!

has returned to North Minneapolis

Unfortunately, it is true. Johnny Northside aka John Hoff aka John Hoffman aka the 800-Pound Gorilla is back in North Minneapolis after attending basic training for the National Guard in South Carolina. It has yet to be confirmed if John was actually there the entire time or if he is currently enlisted in the National Guard. The Anti-Johnny is still waiting for those confirmations.

IF John was in basic training, it will be interesting to find out whether or not John will pay part of his past-due child support, the property taxes on his house at 2226 Bryant Ave. N. or if he will address the $3,200 judgement placed against him and his brother, Judd Hoff by the City of Appleton.

Obviously, things have been fairly quiet on this site with Hoff gone but, I made a promise to John a long time ago that I would never, ever give up my efforts to alert the public of his shady ways and dealings as well as continue to uncover his rather unsavory history.

Game on!

Jeff Skrenes Takes His Shots & Fails To Back It

The Hawthorne Housing Director made a comment that was not so much in response to the article rather it was more of an attempt to discredit me and slam me in the process.
I have copied the first comment I submitted as well as Jeff's slam comments. I submitted a response to Jeff in which I provided a link to the proof that supported my comments as well as asked Jeff to back up his opinions. As of today, Jeff has pulled a "John Hoff" by not responding after tossing some rather direct, baseless opinions.

This is common for Jeff, John Hoff and pals however. They subscribe to the theory of, "Do as I say... Not as I do!"

Maybe one of these days Jeff Skrenes will back up his slanderous opinions. More likely though, he will continue on rambling about in his ways, just like his mentor, John Hoff.

While the content would appear to make sense, the fact of the matter is that the mortgage fraud you are referencing does not have near the impact on today’s market in NoMi and the current tax values should have next to nothing to do with TJ Waconia’s former properties there.

On the tax values: The last property TJ Waconia owned in Minneapolis changed ownership in 2007. The County has updated the tax values for all of their former properties from 2006 thru 2009 and will be updating again in a few months for the year 2010.


I might also point out that the City of Minneapolis ended up buying the majority of the 162 former TJ Waconia houses as part of their settlement with SunTrust Mortgage. SunTrust actually owned most of the houses at the time the city filed their publicized civil suit against TJ Waconia and they were not notified about the suit. The judge ruled for the city to get control of those houses and the city planned to have them managed by Gary Hansen. Problem was… The lawyers for the city did not have title pulled on the houses and assumed TJ waconia still owned them based off the County website. If the title was pulled, it would have shown that SunTrust actually owned them after they foreclosed and the redemption period had expired as well.


SunTrust counter sued the city as a result and the judge reversed his previous order and the city ended up having to buy a lot of those houses from SunTrust as part of the settlement.
The city over-paid for the houses when they bought them as they were only discounted 10% to 15%. The majority were bought at a 12% discount.
Since the city owns a lot of the houses you are talking about, I am sure the County did all they could to get the tax values down as far as they could get them since the city wouldn’t want to have to carry the property taxes at higher values.

As usual, Jim Watkins, who doesn’t live in Minneapolis and is a self-proclaimed friend of the TJ Waconia mortgage fraudsters, is wrong on just about every point he thinks he’s making.


Let’s take another mortgage fraud case as an example of why his last sentence makes no sense. We’ll look at 409 31st Ave N, a property owned by Vicki Cox-Maxwell, wife of convicted felon Larry Maxwell.

The last sale is listed as $177,000 although that’s not entirely accurate. That’s the outstanding amount on the mortgage at the time the Maxwells’ fraudulent empire crashed around them and it went through foreclosure. Don’t be fooled by the assessed value of $19,500. This sorry excuse of a structure will be demolished any day now at a cost of about $15-20,000. The lot isn’t even worth the demolition cost. If the city were doing what Watkins thinks they are in terms of driving down property values, then the assessed value here would be closer to $7,500.

What is your basis for saying I am wrong on every point I make? To put it another way, can you offer something other than a “he’s wrong” opinion?

Is it your opinion that the city of Minneapolis is not against paying higher property taxes on those houses??? Why wouldn’t the city want the tax values to be lower if they are having to pay the taxes? Seriously.


You mention another fraud case but, frankly how can you make comparisons on the 48 city owned houses with any other house in north Minneapolis, regardless of who owns them?


For every house that was linked to any fraud case, one can also compare other houses in the immediate area that were not involved in any fraud case and the figures would be consistent with those that were linked to fraud.


The entire country suffered a major real estate crash. Fraud was only a part of the reason for the crash. Loose lending is the main reason behind the crash.


Finally, Can you offer a reason you felt the need to point out what my relationship was with TJ Waconia other than to bash or attack my credibility?


It would be the same tactic if I were to say your points are not valid and go on to offer your personal and business relationship with individuals who are involved in a number of unethical activities in addition to being seriously late with paying their taxes. Its the same thing and that is what you are trying to do.


Rather than dismiss my points based on who I know, I ask that you dismiss them with facts. Where I live is not relevent at all. If your point was accurate, then it would be fair to say that all the values of houses in a given area are not accurate because, the lenders and other experts don’t live in the area that was involved in a real estate transaction there. Its crazy.

Jeff Skrenes: "Do As I Say, NOT As I Do"

I have been pretty quiet in the NoMi scene recently as the Jordan Hawkman Group has been doing a great job of keeping after the dirtballs of NoMi. A few days ago my name appeared on a new Google search and the link was for a blog that I had never heard of, North by Northside and it turns out that it is run by the Housing Director of the Hawthorne Neighborhood, Jeff Skrenes. I wasn't so much concerned with what Jeff said (there was a few things that were not accurate and totally false though) rather, it is the fact that anything was said by him. What do I mean? What I am talking about is the fact that Jeff posted two emails I had sent him. I don't regret anything I said in either email but, what amazes me is the realization that Jeff uses the same low-life, one sided tactics that his buddy John Hoff aka Johnny Northside uses.... "Do as I say, NOT as I do."

My message was pretty clear... Step away from Johnny Northside by starting your own blog or you will remain on my radar as I continue to expose John Hoff. If that is a threat, then I don't care. However, I did tell Jeff that I would lay off of him and encourage the JHG to do the same. After that, I did lay off Jeff. I really don't find him very interesting and it allowed me to focus more on John Hoff.
Then Jeff put two of my emails on his blog and entertained himself by attempting to bash me.

Here is what Jeff said to me in his response to my first email to him:

I am writing to ask you this simple question in hopes that you will address it while it is still me asking & not well known reporters, State officials or ultimately.... Hawthorne neighborhood residents.



As you are fully aware, John Hoff who lives at 2226 Bryant Ave. N, has an abundance of personal and professional issues surrounding him. I am only interested in seeking your opinion as Housing Director of the Hawthorne Neighborhood about the conflict of interest that exists with John Hoff's house status and the fact that he is also a Hawthorne board member.


There are currently two years of unpaid property taxes as well as a long list of repairs that were to have been completed by January 11, 2009 but, are still unresolved.
Are the board members not expected to adhere to the city and county rules and laws? As the director of the neighborhood, do you not feel this sets a poor example for other residents when they see a board member virtually ignore the agreements they accepted when they purchased their property?
I urge you to consider the ramifications such behavior from a leader has on the residents in your community when responding to this email. I will be sharing your opinions (or lack thereof) with your residents as well as neighboring communities and their residents. I hope to hear back from you very soon.

Megan Goodmundson's Hate Blog: The Voice of John Hoff

Today, it was verified thru a friend of Megan's that she is the one behind the new anti-jim, hate blog but, they also pointed out that John Hoff is more or less telling her what to say. Afterall, Megan knows nothing about me but, her boyfriend, bully blogger John Hoff has know me for a few years now.

The reason for this post is to point out a few, teeny, tiny facts that both John and Megan have overlooked in their quest to hurt me by attempting to make life on my friend more miserable.

You see, John has clearly detailed his intentions and his actions that he has followed thru on concerning my friend. Just yesterday, there was a new post on Megan's hate blog that explained how the prison authorities have been alerted about... Me. I copied a portion of the post for you to read here....

"Hoff took his remedy to the next level. He alerted the Duluth Federal Prison Authorities to Jim Watkins 2+ years targeting of him and others that was quickly turning into harassment and stalking, and expanding to anyone who seemed to associate with John. How can convicted criminals be allowed to have this sort of reach into the lives of people who spoke out publicly about their crimes and the impact it left on their very own neighborhood"

Here are the little facts that John and Megan have failed to overlook:
1) Outgoing phone calls are monitored and recorded and numbers dialed must be on a screened list.
2) All incoming mail is screened & recipients of outgoing mail is documented as well.

What all of that means is no one in prison is able to issue commands to anyone in the outside world. Not without it being well documented anyway.
Since May of 2009, I have recieved one letter and two phone calls. The letter was over a year ago and the last phone call was in February.

Did you get that John & Megan??? ITS NOT POSSIBLE for anyone in prison to get instructions out as you have described! You have been watching too many gangster movies!
The upside to this is the fact that John and Megan have outlined their plan to bring discomfort and worse to people who have no recourse to bullying like they have inflicted. Add to that, is the fact that their well documented bullying against my friends as well as me, is considered Harassment and Blackmail. Yes, I said blackmail because, John made it clear by threatening me of his intentions to attempt to make their lives difficult unless I agreed to leave John alone and continue on with his crusade to become Dictator of NoMi. By threatening me with the threat of harm to others... That is Blackmail.

John Hoff: The Hypocrite Behind the Hate & Disregard

As promised, I have copied the post from the new anti-Jim, hate blog run by John Hoff aka Johnny Northside and posted it here. How can I say for sure that Hoff is behind it? Simple. No one else knows the details outlined in the post like John does. True to Johns ways, he inflicts anything he wishes unto others but, see's it as wrong for others to re-publicize anything about him online. I say that because, the information contained on this blog was obtained from other websites and media outlets.
This blog itself is bothersome to John Hoff. In a recorded phone call between us nearly a year ago, John asked me directly to "Delete the damn thing." When I refused, John threatened me by saying, "You don't want to piss off the 800-pound gorilla."
You see folks, John is a Bully. He lives his life by a separare set of rules and anyone who challenges him, he proceeds to devote himself to ruining that person using a tool known as the Internet. I have several emails sent to me by John AND posted on this blog, that clearly outline how he plans to go about hurting me in any way he can. Unless... I back off him. No lie, check it out for yourself.

As I posted and outlined on the other anti-johnny site, John did something that even I didn't think he was capable of doing. When he determined that there was nothing for him to humiliate me with online, other than him constantly linking my name to my friends name (guilt by association approach), he decided he would attack me below the belt. By that, I mean that John literally told me that if I didn't back off of him, he would write letters to both Tom and Jon as well as the prison in attempts to hurt them. It was simple in his mind, "Stop your pursuit of exposing me (John) or I will do what I can to hurt your friends."
In my mind, that is the most cowardly act a  human can do. To put it another way for the purpose of explanation... (Note: this is an example and I have no intention of pursuing it past this explanation)
Since John has been after me and threatened me and my career since we became aware the other existed, if I decided to really take a low-blow, I could tell John that if he didn't stop writing about me, then I would contact his family and inform them of all the wrongdoing he has been involved with over the years.
As I said, I see such an act as something a kidnapper would do. I see it as blackmail. In fact, in the text message from John, he told me directly that it was his intention to make my friend's family hate me.
As you read below, you can easily see exactly what I am talking about as John goes into detail to explain how he intends to hurt me as well as my friends. Look for my words below in red text.

This is a whole different episode of The Anti-Johnny = The Jordan Hawkman = Jim Watkins. 1) It is no secret that I have not been active in real estate for over two years. Yet, John clings to this as some sort of bad thing. Notice he doesn't say anything negative but, he does present it in a negative manner.  Also, just last month John and girlfriend, Megan Goodmundson called a meeting with Don Allen of Minneapolis and presented him with demands to take down the Jordan Hawkman blog and he claimed he was relaying that message for councilman Don Samuels and State Senator Linda Higgins. Hmmm seems he has changed his mind about who is behind that blog and is now claiming it is me. The only problem with that is, he is wrong. I do claim to know the identity of the Jordan Hawkman but, why would I want John to know who it is??
Think about it... I have made it clear for a long time that I am the person in charge of this blog you are reading. What has it done for me? Nothing. John has constantly bullied me because he has known I am behind it. Now he tries to imply that anyone who writes a blog and does so with a hidden identity, is a coward. Are we that stupid to think that IF the Jordan Hawkman's identity were public that he would not launch an offensive against that person???
Oh, one other thing to notice... The blog I copied this post from does not identify who the author is and does not allow for reader comments. See what I mean when I say, John plays by a different set of rules? Its ok for him to do but, not ok for others. Some might compare those characteristics as that of a Dictator.

Well, why so many hate blogs? Another good question. The first one came from his obsession with John Hoff aka Johnny Northside and grew out of all the attention that John was getting on the internet on his own blog. Huh? Why would I care? Jim Watkins dubbed himself the Anti-Johnny Totally FALSE! You can read it on Johnny Northside.com where John came up with that nick-mane and gave it to me himself. I personally don't care to have his name that closely associated with mine. and tried to ride the coattails to get a little internet attention and be a thorn in the side of John Hoff. This was the first example of the many instances of copycatting that Jim Watkins will continue to create. He copied Johnny Northside's blog almost identically. He copied the url as close as he could. Please see the recent post on here that talks about how John failed Blogging 101. All of what he said above is a credit to me because this blog so closely resembles his own and he was not bright enough to register the .net and .org URL's, this blog ranks just as high as his own in the search engines and he SHOULD be upset about that! Upset with himself! He rode that pony hard and set out on a mission of harassment, stalking and lies, Which are? He is good at planting a seed only he never comes back to back things up with facts. all to fill his need for attention and get "revenge" (He admits it! We'll show you the many messages in which he admits it!) He wasn't getting much attention, so he intensified. Its no secret, after one of my dogs died in July, I wrote much less and didn't research John with the same intensity. Mainly because, the Jordan Hawkman Group started their own blog and it has been getting a lot of attention. It allowed me to rest. Remember, John lied to Don Allen and said the order to remove that blog came from Don Samuels and Linda Higgins. To date, neither of them have confirmed what John claimed. He blogged more, he created conspiracy theories of "special treatment" and political favors, despite the fact that he has zero involvement or inside information of the political winds here in North Minneapolis. He saw John blogging about successful (read 'winning' elections) politicians. He saw John getting accolades in other media. He saw examples of John's writing getting picked up, redistributed, or further elaborated on in other places. He was not creating the effect he wanted, ruining John Hoff wasn't working, but this isn't surprising since nothing this man, Jim Watkins, does is very successful. All I can say after reading that self-promotion is that John does have quite the imagination. However, I don't recall even thinking such things. It IS a rather large ego John has. He even referred to himself as the "800-pound Gorilla."

For some unknown reason, probably technical, or maybe not, Which means, he has no factual idea and is merely saying that to "plant a seed" as other journalists in his class have done. Like, Geraldo Rivera and Jerry Springer to name a few. he created a second Anti-Johnny site. Perhaps he thought blogger would take his misadventures site down because it too closely mimicked someone else's intellectual property. LOL well that would be his former editor and current web-master, Karl Noyes. John has no talent where that is concerned.  Who knows. But he didn't do much with that second Anti-Johnny site. Just a few more cleverly spun conspiracy theories. Mostly just regurgitating what he'd already put up elsewhere. Truth be told... I got tired of trying to maintain two sites. That being the case, why would I care to start a third and spend so much time on that when this site already ranks neck and neck with John's in the search engines??

He became connected with a small handful of other Minneapolis malcontents. For example, during the 2009 Minneapolis city council campaign season, he reached out to loser candidate Lennie Chism, you know, the convicted woman abuser. He connected with a few other blogger-journalists who also spew out conspiracy theories and espouse their severe discontent with local politicians, such as the ones who keeping winning elections. It's pretty coincidental how the other crazy malcontents that teamed up with the Anti-Johnny were also tied to fraudsters and nefarious people that also enjoyed a starring role on Johnny Northside Dot Com. Birds of a feather.... As far as Lenny Chism, all I did was send one email offering information about his opponents. I notice that John has failed to name any other people but, he does lead readers to believe that there are others but, did not back up his claim with any fact. Even if I contacted half of the city, who cares???  Look at the last sentence though... He admits to bashing anyone else he suspected of not agreeing with him and admits to attempting to bash them by giving them a "starring role" on his site.

So now Anti-Johnny has some local help to expand his harassment. Pictures. Local flavor to spice up his rantings. Assistance with creating the illusion that this is real. That there is some big push to ruin Johnny Northside and pals. (Well, okay, there is. The fraudsters, sex offenders, thug-huggers, slumlords and disenfranchised also-rans would REALLY like JNS to shut up, already!)  It is very well known that John has attacked a LOT of people on his blog and in most cases, he has had no factual information to support his accusations. Remember Remar Smith? He accused him of Murder and to date, Remar Smith has not been charged with anything involving that case. So, that being said in addition to what I explained earlier as my reasons for maintaining this site... Sure. It is my intention to inform the public about the unfair, unfounded and bullying ways of John Hoff. Anything accusatory that I say about John, I have or can supply documentation to support what I say. Check around this site and look at the countless links I provide to the sources of such information.

So why the third Anti-Johnny hater site? That's easy to answer. Again, not mine and he already falsely accused Don Allen of the same.  Alerting the prison authorities to Jim Watkins hate and obsession caused him to go under the radar. Anonymous and Unidentified. How Convenient. I don't understand why prison authorities would be concerned about someone like me Or why they would care about someone like John. Again, he attacks the anonymous aspect of that site but, the VERY BLOG this posting came from does NOT reveal who is behind it. Hypocrite!
The back story is that John Hoff grew tired of the constant harassment by text, by email, by comments submitted to the Johnny Northside blog I admit I have sent a few texts but, none threatening and certainly not at all hours of the niht as he claimed. In fact, the latest I have ever sent one was 8:30PM. I have not emailed John in well over a year and he must have super=human power to be able to say that he knows who has submitted anonymous comments to his blog. If that were true, I suggest that John would be pursuing the people who actually submitted them and not making blind, false claims that I did., by targeting his own friends and family. Not to mention it extremely bothered him that the TJ Waconia fraudsters who had wreaked havoc on North Minneapolis contributing to a debilitating foreclosure crisis, had resorted to harassing the people that spoke out against their mortgage fraud and criminal activities. It was clear Jim Watkins was acting on behalf of his good buddies, either by direct order, or by his own initiative and his own self-declared mission to "ruin" John Hoff. What??? That is about the craziest, conspiracy theory bunch of BS that I have seen in a while. How he conjured all that up and connected me to it in his mind is beyond me. 

So Hoff figured the prison authorities and parole board would be interested to see what was going on after the TJ Waconia fraudsters were incarcerated. Please note: What John just did was ADMIT that he was determined to hurt me by attacking someone I care about. COWARDLY! His arrogance actually allowed him to admit such a thing. His words, not mine. Did the harassment and stalking of northside activists by the good friend and former employee of TJ Waconia really show remorse for their crimes? Does it show incarcerated prisoners reaching out through the very bars of steel that surround them? Wait, is he referring to me as being someone who should be showing remorse for the actions of others? Where does he come up with the notion that my constant pursuit of exposing John and his checkered past has anything to do with anyone other than me? In prison or not, there is no basis at all for such an accusation. But, John doesn't care. He figures, just throw one of his crazy theories out on the Internet and let the targeted person defend themself and prove the accusation wrong. John does that ALL THE TME! Read his blog and that is painfully obvious.

First a short, sweet note straight to the fraudsters themselves. A bit later, a more lengthy explanation of why it is in their best interest for Jim Watkins to *not* be showing such disdain for the people left to live amongst the crime scene of the TJ Waconia fraudsters. Good Behavior = Early Release. Documented harassment of neighborhood activists committed by former TJ Waconia employee and self-declared best friend = Not Good Behavior. No idea where this came from? I don't know much about the Federal system but, I was told that there is NO parole system for Federal. I wonder what John's response would be if people knew that he volunteered to go to jail in lieu of paying back child support that he owes? Thats right. He would hurt his own offspring and his former wife AND add the financial burden of the cost to incarcerate him to the taxpayers, so he could avoid paying his back child support. $3,600+ the last time I looked.

When the prison postcards and letters were received by the TJ Waconia fraudsters, Jim Watkins was not happy. Rightfully so. I don't know many that would take someone who made good on a threat to blackmail, in a positive way. Text messages came flying in. Angry messages came via comments submitted to blogs. Along with the flying monkeys and other imaginary things that exist in Johns mind. Increased blog postings and made up troll voices on comment threads. He even wrote about it himself. Any factual documentation or proof to those accusations? Nope.
Hoff took his remedy to the next level.Meaning, he REALLY got pissed off and he stooped even lower in his attempts to get me to stop repeating factual information about him that has been on the Internet already. He alerted the Duluth Federal Prison Authorities to Jim Watkins 2+ years targeting of him and others that was quickly turning into harassment and stalking, and expanding to anyone who seemed to associate with John. Give me a break! Why would he alrert them about ME? Let me remind the readers that John Hoff holds a degree in LAW! He knows damn well that the Duluth prison authorities have no interest or concern for me but, he did it with the intention of making life more difficult for my friend. John, you are a SLUG! How can convicted criminals be allowed to have this sort of reach into the lives of people who spoke out publicly about their crimes and the impact it left on their very own neighborhood? What proof does John have of this? NONE! If my friend wanted me to pursue anything, it would clearly not be John Hoff. Why would that do them any good? John has no bearing in anything they are involved in. Think about it! How would it benefit my friend one bit by continuing to repeat information about John Hoff with mostly unrelated events? That argument by John is ridiculous and shows a lot about Johns character or lack thereof. It shows to what extent John will go to prevail over someone who disagreed with him and his lack of concern for others' that he has and will continue to hurt in his quest to be... Who knows what? He has no regard for other people's safety or well being.
Prison authorities wrote back words to the effect of "your concern is valid and you should contact these involved authorities." (Sorry for the cryptic summary, but it's best not to disclose too much info publicly)
By this time Jim Watkins was already in the habit of making up fake identities and trolling around northside blogs and other internet forums. Shamika. Patrick. James Washington. Dontrell. Jack Oliver. Too many to track and list. Some were like extras in a movie script, one time appearances with a short speaking role. Some became more developed characters who imaginatively created glimpses into their fake, non-existent lives. False. If John has any proof at all, I challenge him to present it. He can't because, his accusations are not true. His ego is pretty big though because, I don't even follow his blog on even a weekly basis. I admit that it has been aggrevating to maintain this duel with John because, he thinks nothing of publishing lies and hurtful things about me and countless others while, I have maintained my position of only publishing things that I can prove or document. It worries me that this guy is trying to join the National Guard while knowing he employs such unfair tactics. What he inflicts on others is the opposite of what morals this Country was founded on. However, it is because John has continued to employ those bullying, hurtful tactics on others to the current day via his blog and elsewhere, that has fueled my desire to continue to inform people of the damage he has created and currently inflicts. For example: If you were to go back in time and were to meet and be around Adolf Hitler, before it was widely known what he intended to do to humanity.... I ask you... Would you turn and look away or would you do what you could to warn others of his intentions? 
I am not comparing John to Hitler but, I will continue to warn others of his past, what harm it has caused others and the current harm and hurt he continues to display.

Then a character with a cutesy copycat name was born. Jordan Hawkman. Awww, don't you just love him already? He *must* be one of us, right? He adopted a copycat name after one of our dearly beloved revitalizers and incorporated one of our neighborhood names, all at one time. So sweet. Let's keep him.
*POST IN PROGRESS* (the point i'm getting at, he went unidentified undercover to skirt the pressure from prison! we'll share more soon!)  John may have missed his calling. He could write the previews for the coming attractions for suspense-thriller TV shows and movies. He does a good job of creating suspense and buzz but, once the cliffhanger is reached, John backs away and hopes his efforts will create a drama for him to watch.
I have a better idea. Maybe John could find a job and pay his taxes for his house and get his child support caught up? NAW.... That would be the honorable thing to do! John Willard Hoff has no honor. He has no respect for anyone else or their well being. Anyone who is WILLING to sit in a jail cell rather than contribute money that he agreed to in writing to benefit his son... Well, how honorable is that?

NoMi "Crack-tivist" Megan Goodmundson Feels Harassed & Includes Family

Earlier tonight I was writing the previous post and decided to send Megan Goodmundson a text message. In fact, it was the first time I had EVER tried any contact with her outside of her own crappy blog. That means I have never emailed her, called her or anything other than commented on her blog (none of those comments were ever approved though surprise surprise).

Megan didn't respond well to my text message and fired back a few of her own, even after she said she would not respond again. She responded again. And again.
In the letter that Megan sent to various politicians she stated she would "share" her disgust with neighbors if the politicians did not reply to her. Then she said she will "share" her disgust even if they don't. Translation: "I am going to bash you no matter what you say."

Megan and "Super-Stiff" boyfriend, John Hoff think nothing of other people's privacy and have proven such by posting personal emails on their blogs and have threatened people who have spoken out against them on thier own blogs as well as countless others run by neighborhood chums.
With that in mind, I decided to "Share" the petty shit (yes, I consider what she said to me to be shit) Megan said to me in the text message exchange earlier.

Entertaining stuff, huh folks? I thought it was interesting that she felt the need to "warn" me to not contact any of her family members in EVERY message she sent me. Not only have I never contacted any of her family, I don't even KNOW who anyone in her family IS outside of her parents. Me thinks Megs is a wee bit paranoid about her family finding out what a piece of fluff she really is.

(Anti-Johnny Note: Megans boyfriend, Johnny Northside made good on a threat to send threatening letters to my friends who are in a Duluth Federal Prison Camp. AND John sent letters to the prison administration in a feeble attempt to make life on my friends more difficult. Oh, John told me that it was his intention to make my friend's family hate me. As readers know, I have never pulled the sort of sadistic crap that John Hoff has with the intention of truly hurting people. Yet, Megs was adamant that I not contact her family. Ooo K!)

Lastly, there is a new blog out there that is devoted to... Me! You readers can Google around and find it but, it is set up so no one can figure out who is involved with it or owns it. Funny thing happened tonight though... The post (lone that is) has information about me contacting Megan by text messaging yet, I have only sent her mssgs ONCE... Earlier tonight!
I think it is pretty clear that John and/or Megan Goodmundson are responsible for that hate blog or else it would be pretty difficult for the post author to know about those messages since I had not posted either this or the last post online at that point.

It is funny though. Megan and all the northside haters comment all over the net that I and the JHG must be bored to keep after them like this for us to waste as much time as we do to with our anti-activist blogs. HAHAHA But, as I and others have said before... That group of slugs that claim they are revitalizers, have the mind set of "Do as I say! NOT as I do!"

Today I stumbled upon a letter that was emailed to just about every person in the state who has anything to do with politics in N. Minneapolis. It was authored by none other than the "Super-Citizen" Megan E. Goodmundson of Johnny Northside shame. Oh, Megan just happens to be Johnny Northside's "flame" as well.
I have copied her letter and pasted it below for you bloggers to read.

Subject: 7 Shootings in 7 Hours - Urban Terrorists In Our Neighborhoods
To: Governor Pawlenty, Mayor Rybak, Chief Dolan, All Minneapolis City Councilmembers, All Hennepin County Commissioners, State Senator Higgins, State Reps Champion and Mullery, Sheriff Stanek, Inspector Martin, Lt. Heimerl:
I am asking each and every one of you to respond to me regarding the levels of violence occurring in my community. You each are paid to represent and serve me and my neighbors and we need to hear from you, please. If any of them bother to respond to your letter, I would hope it would be to "serve" you with a dose of COMMON SENSE! Now hear this... You LIVE in a violent Ghetto! Its not like you JUST MOVED there & all this violence just broke out.

In my north Minneapolis neighborhood on Monday night, there were seven people shot within seven hours within an approximate 15 to 20 square block radius.
As you all are well aware, I am sure, this years homicide numbers are much higher than the decrease we had last year.  Way to compliment the police there, Megs! Oh, I am sure they take your critisizm constructively.
In addition to those terrible incidents mentioned above, there are an almost uncountable number of other urban terrorism incidents such as windows being broken or shot out with rocks or pellet guns every week, in a wide spread pattern. You use the word "Terrorism" to describe what is in your neighborhood. Well, people who I like to call rational Americans DON'T move to places where Terrorist activities occur.
The good, decent, taxpaying neighbors are being terrorized on their own streets. They don't have to travel to Iraq or Afghanistan to risk their lives, it is happening right at the spot where they lay their head in the land of the free, home of the brave. "Taxpaying neighbors" you say? I noticed you said neighbors and didn't include yourself because, you are no longer a taxpayer since you lost your house.

If this was occurring in other areas of Minneapolis, Hennepin County or the State ofesota, I know there would be OUTRAGE and IMMEDIATE law enforcement attention thrown at the problem and no one would sleep until those good people were reassured and placated. Did you happen to notice that those people chose to NOT live in areas like that??? That should be a hint!

Well, there are good people, tax paying citizens who need protection now from this violence. Just a note Megan: You and your boyfriend, John do NOT pay taxes! In fact, John has NEVER paid taxes for his house on Bryant Ave. N!  We can not continue to be quiet as our neighborhoods become a jungle of urban terrorism. When the hell were ANY of you quiet??? Every one of you bullshitter's have your own hate blogs and John has never shut up once in his life!!! I can not believe that if similar incidents were occurring in Kenwood or Linden Hills they would be allowed to continue without direct action by the local authorities and elected officials. (Yawn) See above.

North Minneapolis has been neglected for too long in the area of active crime fighting and greater police presence. You hearing this, Lt. Heimerl & the Fourth Precinct? Megan say's you have neglected North Minneapolis.

We have two more long months of summer to endure with this level of violent crime occurring nightly. We can not sit in our yards, allow our children out to play, or even feel safe parking our cars in front of our homes. 1) You don't sit in your yards because, you and John stand in others' yards and take pictures to post on your blogs! 2) Since when do you have any children? Oh, John doesn't pay for the one he has. 3) Does John even HAVE a car? This is an injustice to all of us that live in north Minneapolis. We are all property tax payers, but what services are we getting for these funds? A-HA! There it is! I am sure I don't need to remind you that everyone ELSE are property taxpayers because, your parents are now obligated to pay taxes after they bought your house after you defaulted on the loan and the bank foreclosed. Again, John doesn't pay his taxes and Hawthorne Hawkman, Jeff Skrenes (Housing Director) doesn't either because, he RENTS.
So, I guess you, John and Jeff all get what you pay for... Nothing.
We have been told in meetings we attend that fighting crime IS a priority for north Minneapolis. However, we, as citizens are not seeing any of those efforts. Instead we wake up to headlines in the newspaper of record, Star Tribune that there were seven shootings in seven hours in north Minneapolis. That is if we have not been personally affected by those shootings, like I was last Monday night. No shit? Hmm either they were aiming for you or you are an idiot for knowingly hanging around areas where there is terrorism. Or were you just standing on a corner, minding your own business? Our property values have already shrunk, and headlines like the one above will keep anyone from considering moving to north Minneapolis. With the number of empty homes we already have, how much more in property taxes will we have to pay for people that are fed up with the crime and violence and just move, or worse, rent to anyone they can find? That is a good question and I think the good taxpayers should be asking that question rather than the non-taxpayers like you, John and Jeff.

Each and every day that I am driving around my neighborhood I see drug deals, hookers meeting up with johns, stolen property being sold in the open, Like the weed eater John had you pull over for so he could buy it and blog about his good deal. large gatherings and public disturbances, littering, boom cars, people walking down the middle of the street. It's like the land of the lawless. If you are short on revenue, just come here and fine these criminals and you will generate enough revenue to be able to hire more police who can actually keep our streets safe and fight bigger crime. Are you kidding? You and John spend SO much time blogging with your tongues up police asses, saying on your blogs how much you appreciate what they do for you yet, you literally toss them under the bus with that statement! Maybe the next bullet you have to avoid will be coming from one of the officers of the Fourth Precinct?

Bring in more police, more sheriff deputies, heck, bring in the National Guard! Keep our people safe! AHAHAHA! More police and sheriff deputies for you to sweep under the bus! I love it! National Guard? OH THATS RIGHT... John is supposedly going into the National Guard! Maybe we will all get a laugh when we see John's head popping out of a tank rolling down a NoMi street sort of like when Dukakis did it in '88 running for President and looked like a total idiot.

I know for sure if seven people were shot in Windom or Linden Hills or Wayzata or Apple Valley you would not even blink at the idea of declaring a state of emergency and bringing in U.S. Soldiers! What makes north Minneapolis less deserving of public safety? Maybe because, its people like you who have the nerve to kiss ass and promote people running for office and the local police then turn around and slam them in letters like yours and copy it to every other elected official to highlight the lousy job they have done.

Please respond to me so that I can share it with the neighbors that I am copying on this letter. I will share any and all responses, and I will share if there is NO response. Oh, this is just TOO good! You tell them to respond or else you will bitch some more AND you will bitch even if they DON'T respond! Thats the way Democracy is done!
(Jim's note: As I was writing this post, I sent Megan a text message to her cell phone after the City of Minneapolis made the number public by posting it on their website (Megan gave it to the city with her contact info actually). Well Megan flipped out and had some VERY determined words for me by God! So, when I saw Megan threaten to bitch and share publicly if people didn't respond to her letter and she said she will share even if they don't respond, I thought how perfect!!!
