It has been a while since I posted anything to this Blog. Mainly because, John Hoff has gone into a non-attack mode after the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners denied him admission to the Oklahoma Bar, even after he had passed the Bar exam. The details of the results of the 2-day Bar Examiners hearing can be found on this Blog.

It has been more than seven years since Hoff was exposed by the Oklahoma Bar Examiners and his Blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside, has not had any updates since 2015. 
During the last seven years, life has gone on and back to normal. I was contacted by John's younger brother, Judd back in 2013 and since then, Judd and I have become pretty good friends.
In early 2020, Judd Hoff invited me to visit him at his home near Alexandria, MN. The exact same property that John Hoff spent many years at while growing up. In June, 2020 I took Judd up on his offer and I spent three days at the Hoff Family home. Judd was very friendly and it ended up being a fun time for me. I was able to get lots of pictures when I flew my drone around the property.

I also was able to meet three of Judd's kids as well. Judd's kids all knew of me from this Blog and my relentless blogging about their Uncle, John. They were nice kids... young adults really. I am glad that I was able to meet them and they were happy to relay their opinions about their Uncle John.

The stories Judd has shared with me about his childhood and growing up with John have been absolutely priceless. Even though Judd has given me permission to publish those stories, I have decided to keep them private. However, if John were to decide to go back to his old ways of attacking people online, then I would begin to publish the antics of a young John Hoff.

Hoff said several years ago on his Blog that "NoMi" aka North Minneapolis, was his home and would be for years to come. As with most of the crap that comes from Hoff, that statement didn't take long to change. The most recent post on this Blog was in June, 2018 and I reported that Hoff had sold his house in North Minneapolis. I speculated on where he would land and call "Home". My guess had been that Hoff would move back to El Paso, Texas. That is where he was based when he was in the Army. It is also where Hoff was when his ex-wife separated and moved to Seattle. Hoff followed soon after but, that is another story.

While this is mere speculation and hear-say, it is believed that Hoff had an affair with a woman in El Paso and fathered a child with her. It is believed that the affair was discovered by his now ex-wife and that is what prompted her to relocate to Seattle, leaving John behind.
It turns out that I was wrong about John moving to El Paso. While he might have visited El Paso, he didn't move there.

John Hoff had joined the National Guard in 2010 and transferred to the Oklahoma unit soon after so he would be deployed to Afghanistan. The reason for such a dramatic effort to re-enlist and be called up to active duty was financial. At the time, Hoff was seriously delinquent with his child support responsibilities and was facing jail if he did not pay his past due payments.
When Hoff returned from Afghanistan, he spent most of his time in Oklahoma and it has been confirmed that he has remained a reserve with the National Guard.

In 2017, Hoff registered to vote and is listed as a Democrat. That information can be found by clicking on.... John Hoff Current Public Info and here, John Hoff Oklahoma Voter.

The two addresses are for his business address, which is where his National Guard base is located a few blocks away. Midwest City is pretty much a southern suburb of Oklahoma City.
The second address is located in Coalgate, Oklahoma. From what I can tell from looking at a map, Coalgate is a small town, about 110 miles southeast from Oklahoma City.
I might mention an interesting tidbit... The address in Coalgate happens to be the listed address for Palmer Law. After reviewing the website www.callpalmer.com, there is no mention of John Hoff. If Hoff is employed by the firm, it is in an unofficial capacity.
 
I admit that I won't be putting much time into finding our what Hoff does with his time in Oklahoma but, if anyone reading this happens to know any additional information.... Please contact me via the Comments and I will get back in touch with you.

Activist Megan Goodmundson Makes North Minneapolis A Better Place... By Leaving!

I have to admit that I am not exactly reporting on up to the minute news with this but, better late than never.
Long time north Minneapolis activist Megan Goodmundson is no longer living in NoMi. In fact, she is no longer living in the Twin Cities. Several sources have confirmed that Megan Goodmundson no longer lives in her house on Newton Ave. N in Minneapolis after moving north of the cities to the Minnesota town of New York Mills. According to the New York Mills city council minutes from December 2012, Goodmundson had been hired by Kim Hoban who manages the local liquor store/bar as a part-time bartender. Cross Johnny Northside & He Goes After You & Your Family

It's no secret that Johnny Northside plays by his own set of rules. When those rules are no longer to his advantage, he simply changes them. In his mind, it is all about winning, being right and being dominant. How he does it has no limits. No boundaries. No compassion. Wait... What do you mean, no compassion?

In the image below, you will see comments from John on the TJ Wac Victims blog where Johnny Northside more or less was created. The topic was about when anonymous commenters swing "below the belt" by slamming the commenters kids in order to get to the parents. John was clearly against such tactics and referred to it as "common decency in warfare." That was in February of 2008.

Fast forward to November of 2011. The Adventures of Johnny Northside blog has taken aim at one of Johnny Northside's public foe's... Terry Yzaguirre. Here is the link to the post on John's site: Johnny Northside attacks foe's kids.

It makes me ask some questions... "Why slam the parent of these kids? This happened in Oklahoma, not north Minneapolis. Is who their mother is of any significance in the matter? Is this really a personal attack on their mother?" Here is what John Hoff had to say about her on his blog...

"These are, after all, the sons of the Mpls Mirror lady who pours scorn and criticism upon North Minneapolis revitalization efforts"

Adding to the attack, John posted the following post to his Blog about the two brothers and their mother. Johnny Northiside post # 1.

I could go on and on about Hoff being a hypocrite and how dangerous he really is but, I just post the information and leave it up to the reader to determine whether or not they want to steer clear of Hoff and his NoMoi Posse or turn the other cheek and hope that they don't end up in his bad graces and wondering what you ever did to him to deserve the public bashing he inflicts on you and your family.
Just remember... You can't make a deal with the Devil and expect him to keep his end of the deal.

Northside Activists Hoff & Goodmundson: Breaking the Rules... And Laws (Stay Tuned)

It has been a little quiet lately in north Minneapolis and much of that is because, Johnny Northside aka John Hoff has not been paying much attention to his blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside or his beloved north Minneapolis. Note: That is the same blog that made headlines in March when John Hoff made history by LOSING in court to Jerry Moore which resulted in the jury slapping Hoff with a Judgement of SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!  Now THAT is what I call a 60,000-time loser!

There is a good reason why John has not been paying much attention to NoMi or his blog. The faithful readers of the Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside have not forgotten about Hoff just yet as one reader has provided us with the reason and the proof of why John has been soooo distant. The next post will provide the public with that information and the proof to back it up.
Oh, I almost forgot... The very same information about John also happens to uncover some wrong-doing by Hoff in the process! If the city doesn't want to hold him accountable, or his city council buddies... It is only fair that the public knows about the special treatment he is getting while they have to pay.

We can't forget about No-Mi's number one "Super Citizen" and Hoff's girlfriend, Megan Goodmundson!
This blog, with the help of the Jordan Hawkman, uncovered the super-shady deal involving Megan's house on Newton Ave N. where she screwed the lender out of more than $100,000 when she let it go back to them in a foreclosure. The shady part was when Megan's parents swooped into town from Virginia and bought the house from the lender for a mere $32,000 while Megan had owed the bank around $160,000. We wonder if the bank knew the buyers just happened to be Megan's parents?

Back to the point though. Megan has made herself out to be some sort of modern day savior for north Minneapolis and after she  hooked up with Johnny Northside, he bragged about her on his blog and called her the "Super Citizen."
The Jordan Hawkman also found a few of her Judgements that are filed with the courts that her former credit card companies filed against her after she let the cards charge-off.
Well in an upcoming post, we will be posting the beautiful truth about one more side of Megan Goodmundson that I am sure she had hoped would never be discovered. Why would she worry about anything in her past coming back to haunt her? Afterall, you don't get to be a Super Citizen unless you stayed out of trouble. She volunteered to manage City Councilman Don Samuels election campaign a few years ago and surely, Don Samuels wouldn't ever let someone with a checkered past take on such an important role in the campaign.... Right?
It's the "Smoking Gun" that Megan will finally get to answer for. If she refuses to acknowledge questions this time as she always has, that is okay because, the "smoking gun" that was sent to the Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside, will speak for itself just fine.

RIP Irving Inquisition

The Irving Inquisition has been dormant now for the past four weeks. After the jury in the Moore v. Hoff case ruled Johnny Northside must pay $60,000 in damages, the other NoMi Blogs have either scaled way back with the number of posts or have literally stopped completely. Ok, there is the North by Northside blog still active but, Jeff Skrenes gives the skit "The Delicious Dish" of SNL fame a run for its money. The difference being, the skit is intentionally boring as hell.

Of course, the reasons for the II blog being dormant is merely my opinion but, as Johnny Northside would say... "FARE-THEE-WELL" !!!

Hoff Criticizes Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Website

This is rich! John Hoff aka Johnny Northside has said on his blog since day 1 that since I live in Texas, what business is it of mine to meddle in his NoMi neighborhood politics.
At the same time, I have always said that John's attitude on everything is, "Do as I say... Not as I do!" In other words, John Hoff is nothing but a hypocrite.
With that, I give you yet another classic example of John Hoff mouthing off about something totally unrelated to his "cause" in NoMi. Keep in mind that John has very publicly kissed the ass of the Minneapolis Police Department and held up signs at the blank for Chief Dolan. I just found where John slams the LASD and their website in an email AND THEN has to double the insult to the Sheriff's Department by posting a copy of the email exchange!

Attention all Minneapolis law enforcement personnel... He called the police in his book, "Pigs" and "Criminals with badges" and here he insults the LASD in public. Do you REALLY think he doesn't insult you when you aren't protecting his sorry ass??

So I was reading an article on the internet about some serial killer named Bradford, and how the authorities in Los Angeles had released more of his photos (the guy was a serious photo nut) hoping to identify possible murder victims or witnesses who might have clues.



Curious, I went to the website to look at the photos. However, I couldn’t see the photos on the website. They weren’t big enough nor clear enough. The image on the website, in fact, seemed to be a reproduction of some kind of police poster featuring the images.


Why, I wondered, hadn’t the mainstream media report that I read MENTIONED that? Why didn’t it say, in effect, “Police release photos…of course, public can’t make out the images worth crap. More at five o’clock.”
I sent an email to the police department in question, and here was how the exchange went:

Just five days ago, Johnny Northside aka John Hoff, went on record by announcing to anyone who might read soon to be un-employed Jeff Skrene's blog, that it isn't enough to go after major property owners.
John said, "We need to go AFTER the VERY minor slumlords who own, say, just ONE house." What would make a person with just one rental property a slumlord? Thats easy! A slumlord is someone who owns a house that is run down and in dire need of repair. Like, say, the rental property located at 2718 Newton Ave N. that northside crack-tivist Megan Goodmundson lives at. A simple check on the city website shows that the property has countless repairs still needing to be addressed and is way past the agreed to time to complete them as promised in the TISH report.

What slumlord owns such a blight? Why its none other than Megans parents, Gary & Janis Goodmundson of Chesapeake, Virginia!
These Northside Vigilante's are going after people who they "think" deserve to be ridden so, its only fair that they also target the ones that ignore city orders to fix the rental property that they own, especially when the house is run-down and occupied by someone claiming to be setting an example for a better NoMi.

 YES we need to keep riding the big slumlords and that's a big job, riding them. But we need to set our sights on the minor slumlords who own, say, under a dozen houses.

 And then we need to go after the VERY minor slumlords who own, say, just ONE house, but it's a really, really bad house...gets raided by SWAT, people smoke crack there, that kind of thing.

 Do the math. How much does the slumlord get in profit? How much do the taxpayers pay for, say, the police services eaten up by houses full of criminal tenants? How much does a bad house cost the neighbors around in decreased property values, lost sleep, fear and stress and worry?

 I'm glad you posted this about Bertelson. But this post is bigger than Bertselson. This post may be an example of a tactical shift we need to accomplish: we have the big fish in our nets. Let's go after the mid-size and little fish, too.

Anti-JNS Exclusive! Up Close & Personal With Johnny Northside's House!

I know the "Exclusive" in the title is really lame but, the point of this blog is to get the inside scoop on all the less-than-legal antics of Johnny Northside aka John Hoffman aka John Willard Hoff who lives at 2226 Bryant Ave. N. in Minneapolis.
A resident of NoMi who is not a fan of Johnny Northside was kind enough to email a few close-up pictures of John's house. I think it is great that people are starting to pay close attention to what he is up to or in some cases, NOT up to. Like... Not fixing his house as he agreed to do when he signed his Truth In Housing when he bought his house. NEWS FLASH!!! John has STILL not paid his 2008 OR 2009 property taxes. Isn't that typical John though? He will pound his chest on his blog and complain about "Tax Payers" in NoMi who have rights against L3SO's and all sorts of other crap he wants to attack and here the ENTIRE TIME, John has NOT PAID his own property taxes. That includes the County, the City of Minneapolis, Minneapolis schools taxes, etc..

He is a real class act. Too bad he can't afford to have simple luxuries like owning a lawn mower so, he doesn't have to ride on the bumper of his "Super-Citizen", mortgage fraudster and fellow Truth in Housing offender of a girlfriend, Megan Goodmundson's car while he literally drags her lawn mower over to his own house to cut his wild weed of a lawn.

Enjoy the nice pictures of his house and I am really happy to welcome all the "Anti-Johnny" northsiders to our growing group of members. Don Samuels, Jeff Skrenes aka Hawthorne Hawkman, Megan and other faithful JNS groupies are losing support quickly now that the MisAdventures of Johnny Northside blog has increased the amount of information about his group that the public doesn't like to hear about (taxes, crappy house, restraining order, etc.).

When Will Minneapolis People Wise Up To John Hoff a.k.a. Johnny Northside?

This blog is now over one year old and there is no plans to go away. Past posts have listed links, info, court records, pictures, audio and direct quotes of John Hoff. All of them paint a picture of a selfish, egotistical, defiant person who shows a blatant disregard for anything or anyone that conflicts with his opinions.
Anyone who challenges him face public scrutiny and often times, humiliation if John can find any information on the person as he exploits them online. He claims it is his right under the Constitution to do so.

His blog has made him a local celebrity in north Minneapolis (NoMi) and all it has done is driven him to push the limits of what he can get away with.
Recently, he crawled across a frozen lake to take pictures of Jon Helgason's house of TJ Waconia. He claimed it was his house even though the tax records show it is owned by an LLC. Neighbors witnessed him snooping around the house and notified the owner. (Check back soon for a full post dedicated to this topic.)

John continually posts articles on his blog without verifying the validity or accuracy of his opinions or statements he claims are fact.
Have a look at what was written just days ago about him disrupting a recent hearing about an unsecured house in the neighborhood...

"Other community members used harsher language. John Hoff, (otherwise known as Johnny Northside) was at first asked to leave the meeting for videotaping, but he ignored that request. Later, Hoff spoke , and said that people were telling "big fat lies." Hoff called for a criminal report. "The corbels were smashed!" Hoff said. "Pauline's trunk was smashed." After pronouncing a swear word, Hoff was again asked to leave, and this time he did, shouting "Pauline's House will be a rallying cry for preservationists everywhere!""

Another website had a post from Jeff Skrenes who is the Hawthorne Neighborhood Housing Director and call himself the "Hawthorne Hawkman. Jeff is a personal friend of Hoff and is able to post articles on Hoff's blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside.
Here is part of what Jeff posted on the matter.

"But it was John Hoff who made statements and was asked to leave.
I pretty much agreed with his statements, for the record, and my only issue was
that he blurred the line between himself as a media source and an activist."

The reason the last sentence was highlighted is because, John Hoff is currently being sued for comments made on his blog about an individual who was fired after Hoff slammed him on his blog. Hoff stands behind opinion that it is freedom of the press and therefore he can say what he wishes.

Make no mistake about John Hoff, better known as Johnny Northside. He is no journalist. John is nothing more than a trash talking, self serving extremist and activist. Check out some of his quotes on the net from one of his TWO books he authored on the topic of Dumpster Diving (Note: Published under his pen name of John Hoffman).
If I was a member of the Minneapolis City Council such as Don Samuels (whom Hoff boasts as his "friend"), I would do a little more research into the background of John Hoff.

John commented in a video clip in the trailer for the upcoming documentary movie, Johnny Northside Movie, that his father told him to stay close to his son. That advice has taken John to live in Seattle, Washington, Grand Forks, North Dakota and to his current home of Minneapolis. I wish John's ex-wife (Tina) would relocate again. It would be interesting to see if John could give up his celebrity status by moving to stay close to his son.
The people of Minneapolis would only be so lucky.
