Rules are Rules and Laws are Laws... Not to John Hoff

'Ol Johnny Northside aka John Hoff has a long history of being in the middle of trouble. If you look at the various issues he has taken a stand against, you will see the pattern as to why he finds trouble.

Rules are rules and Laws are laws... Unless your name is John Hoff. John actually loves laws. He loves them so much that he went and got himself a degree in Law. Alright, thats getting off the main subject a little bit but, most citizens abide by the rules and laws and if they break any, they are held accountable (or so that is what is supposed to happen). When John Hoff violates a rule or a law, he fights the system to the bitter end in hopes of being able to avoid being held accountable.

How does he do that? Simple.... He exploits the rule or law as being stupid and goes on a public rant to convince others that the rule or law is dumb and therefore he should not be held accountable. A few examples would include, having a vehicle towed because, it was parked where it was not supposed to be. Hoff's answer: Start a blog and attack the issue from his perspective only on Towing Utopia.com. Never mind that he was wrong, the point is that he did not agree with the rule after finding out the hard way that it did not suit him.

Some things never change with Johnny Northside. Only the cities where he has lived seem to change.

Seattle's Sidewalk Ordinance Upheld

SEATTLE - The state Court of Appeals upheld the constitutionality of Seattle's sidewalk ordinance yesterday.
Sarah McConahy, a formerly homeless youth, and John Hoff, an advocate for Seattle's homeless, were cited in 1994 for sitting on the sidewalk in the University District. McConahy was sitting with friends, eating and sometimes panhandling, and wearing a button that said: "Sitting is not a crime." Hoff was sitting reading a book with leaflets in his lap advertising a protest against the ordinance.

The two had separate municipal court trials. Each was found to have violated the sidewalk ordinance.
McConahy and Hoff joined together to appeal the decision, alleging that the ordinance violated the state constitution, including their rights to free speech and due process.
The 1994 ordinance bans sitting or lying on public sidewalks in commercial areas from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Johnny Northside with a "Crack Ho"

Johnny Northside posted a parody that showed a picture of Mayoral candidate, Al Flowers with a large smoking object hanging on his lips. I assume it is meant to be a marijuana cigarette but, Johnny stopped short of saying that.
Since John Hoff is known to be a hypocrite with so many things, such as his pen name "Hoffman" that is in homage to Abbie Hoffman of the Chicago 7 and a well-known cocaine addict. When I saw he posted the picture of Al Flowers smoking pot (and John claims his blog is fair while he rips the reputations of people running for public office against his new found political buddies), I decided to mirror the parody by offering a picture of John engaging with a "crack ho" as he likes to call them.
For anyone who might take offense to the picture... It is a P-A-R-O-D-Y so, Enjoy.

Twice as much Johnny Northside!

A new blog by the Anti-Johnny was launched yesterday, Northside Johnny. It will have the same information as the current blog but, it will have some content that won't be seen on this blog at times. It is hosted by Wordpress and it has become clear that the search engines pick up Wordpress blogs a lot more than Blogger sites. Perfect! Now there will be two sites to keep the public informed of John Hoff aka Johnny Northside!

Lennie Chism: The Other Side to the Story

As promised, below you will find five pictures that are screen shots of the PDF file police report that was filed by the Minnetonka PD. They responded to a dispute call between Lennie Chism and Monika Shannon. This post covers the portion of the report with what Miss Shannon told the police.

Just my $0.02 cents but, I am guessing that the reason she was driving so slowly was because, she knew the police had been called and wanted to make sure they were able to find her before they got on the highway.

The entire scene had been carefully planned before Lennie Chism showed up and it would appear that she intended to have him arrested.

There Are Two Sides To Every Story

For those of you that read the National Enquirer-esq craziness at http://www.johnnynorthside.com/, it would appear that Lennie Chism is getting what he deserves from John Hoff...It would appear.

Of course, even the worst critics are reasonable enough to know that there are Two Sides To Every Story and from the limited information I have received as of today, it definitely looks like there is a clear-cut "other" side to the story.

The MisAdventures of Johnny Northside will soon be posting information (that can and will be documented as fact) about the Lennie Chism story that will give the public the chance to see the other side of the story.
One fact that really needs to be revealed immediately is the marital status of Lennie Chism. Johnny Northside portrayed Mr. Chism to be a cheating husband. In fact, he made sure everyone knew Mr. Chism is currently married.
The other side to that story, is that John Hoff rushed to get the info online before researching his opinion. Had he researched Mr. Chism's marital status, he would have discovered that Lennie Chism has been SEPARATED from his wife for nearly.... FIFTEEN YEARS!
In case you misread the last sentence..... Lennie Chism has been separated (meaning NOT together) for almost 15 years.

Johnny Northside's Public Contact Information

As long as information is available to the public, there is nothing wrong with letting others know... Right?

John Hoff stands behind his safety blanket known as First Amendment rights and acts as though he is doing a public service. Some of his "intentional flaming" may actually be "legal" but, I think the majority of the people who are familiar with his blog would agree... His public flaming is borderline cruel and certainly self-serving and un-ethical. John went to law school though. Surely there was a class on ethics, right? Maybe John felt there was no need to attend that class.

Since John is on the Hawthorn board, he is a public servant (Sorry, its hard not to laugh at that one) so, I was able to find his home address online, just in case any area residents wanted to drop him a letter. Maybe they would prefer to call him on his cell phone since that is also public information (lots more where out there, John).

John's address was posted online by the City of Appleton, Minnesota. Want to know why? Remember all the bashing John has dished out to people for things like, not paying a water bill and things like that? Well, Johnny Northside apparently doesn't like to cut grass on his property in Appleton (Jill Clark & Jerry Moore: Johnny does have assets after all) because, the city slapped a judgement on him for a delinquent mowing bill in the amount of $383.00 and posted his home address in north Minneapolis. In case you were wondering, he has yet to pay for the judgement. Wait until you see how much his girlfriend owes on her two judgements!

John Hoff insists all of this is only me trying to get sympathy for my friend but, that isn't correct. All of this is to show the public what a phony he is and that he is guilty of damn near everything he accuses others of doing (see screen shot above).

Johhny Northside: Not Exactly Accurate (Again)

There will be some kind of future post about this, but behind the scenes right now Jim Watkins--self proclaimed best friend of T.J. Waconia fraudster Thomas Balko--has been trying to stir up sympathy for his incarcerated friend. Since the MPLS Mirror printed Jim Watkins' other dribble about TJ Waconia, it wouldn't surprise me if the contact is ongoing.

I'm troubled by the fact the mug shots for a number of mortgage fraudsters--Thomas Balko, Donald Walthall, Marlon Pratt, Larry Maxwell--aren't appearing on the Department of Corrections website. We need to see what these jailbirds look like and know their whereabouts. I sent an email to DOC but haven't heard back.

As for the mugshots and their whereabouts... There is a good reason he can't find them and I find it very funny that he can't figure out why. Perhaps if he wasn't an "800 pound Gorilla" with an equal mental capacity, he would have discovered why he has led himself on a pointless mission.
I am happy to announce that Johnny has convinced me how wonderful public information can be. My next post will include a few facts about Johnny that is available to anyone online!

Northside activist John Hoff aka Johnny Northside, has offended people and talked "trash" everywhere he has been. Recent posts have offered insight into his past and those past antics strongly suggest what is to come in north Minneapolis.
Click on the link at the end of this post to read an interview the Seattle Times published with John Hoff's first publisher, Michael Hoy of Loompanics in 1999.
Hoy mentioned the novel Hoff had written (unknown if it was actually published) and said,

"Like many first novels, it is partly autobiographical. Amid a plot about war, romance, politics and "electoral sabotage"

The author of the interview Richard Seven, had this to say about John Hoffman (Hoff is his legal name):

Hoffman, who lives in a University District apartment, is an activist for the homeless and other grassroots causes and uses his rummaging skills to forage through public records and take on city hall.

People ask me why I keep looking for info on John Hoff and I simply tell them to read some of the stuff I have found on him. The majority of them can't believe that Johnny Northside is the same person and they wonder how long it will take until he does the same thing in north Minneapolis.
