It has been a while since I posted anything to this Blog. Mainly because, John Hoff has gone into a non-attack mode after the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners denied him admission to the Oklahoma Bar, even after he had passed the Bar exam. The details of the results of the 2-day Bar Examiners hearing can be found on this Blog.

It has been more than seven years since Hoff was exposed by the Oklahoma Bar Examiners and his Blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside, has not had any updates since 2015. 
During the last seven years, life has gone on and back to normal. I was contacted by John's younger brother, Judd back in 2013 and since then, Judd and I have become pretty good friends.
In early 2020, Judd Hoff invited me to visit him at his home near Alexandria, MN. The exact same property that John Hoff spent many years at while growing up. In June, 2020 I took Judd up on his offer and I spent three days at the Hoff Family home. Judd was very friendly and it ended up being a fun time for me. I was able to get lots of pictures when I flew my drone around the property.

I also was able to meet three of Judd's kids as well. Judd's kids all knew of me from this Blog and my relentless blogging about their Uncle, John. They were nice kids... young adults really. I am glad that I was able to meet them and they were happy to relay their opinions about their Uncle John.

The stories Judd has shared with me about his childhood and growing up with John have been absolutely priceless. Even though Judd has given me permission to publish those stories, I have decided to keep them private. However, if John were to decide to go back to his old ways of attacking people online, then I would begin to publish the antics of a young John Hoff.

Hoff said several years ago on his Blog that "NoMi" aka North Minneapolis, was his home and would be for years to come. As with most of the crap that comes from Hoff, that statement didn't take long to change. The most recent post on this Blog was in June, 2018 and I reported that Hoff had sold his house in North Minneapolis. I speculated on where he would land and call "Home". My guess had been that Hoff would move back to El Paso, Texas. That is where he was based when he was in the Army. It is also where Hoff was when his ex-wife separated and moved to Seattle. Hoff followed soon after but, that is another story.

While this is mere speculation and hear-say, it is believed that Hoff had an affair with a woman in El Paso and fathered a child with her. It is believed that the affair was discovered by his now ex-wife and that is what prompted her to relocate to Seattle, leaving John behind.
It turns out that I was wrong about John moving to El Paso. While he might have visited El Paso, he didn't move there.

John Hoff had joined the National Guard in 2010 and transferred to the Oklahoma unit soon after so he would be deployed to Afghanistan. The reason for such a dramatic effort to re-enlist and be called up to active duty was financial. At the time, Hoff was seriously delinquent with his child support responsibilities and was facing jail if he did not pay his past due payments.
When Hoff returned from Afghanistan, he spent most of his time in Oklahoma and it has been confirmed that he has remained a reserve with the National Guard.

In 2017, Hoff registered to vote and is listed as a Democrat. That information can be found by clicking on.... John Hoff Current Public Info and here, John Hoff Oklahoma Voter.

The two addresses are for his business address, which is where his National Guard base is located a few blocks away. Midwest City is pretty much a southern suburb of Oklahoma City.
The second address is located in Coalgate, Oklahoma. From what I can tell from looking at a map, Coalgate is a small town, about 110 miles southeast from Oklahoma City.
I might mention an interesting tidbit... The address in Coalgate happens to be the listed address for Palmer Law. After reviewing the website www.callpalmer.com, there is no mention of John Hoff. If Hoff is employed by the firm, it is in an unofficial capacity.
 
I admit that I won't be putting much time into finding our what Hoff does with his time in Oklahoma but, if anyone reading this happens to know any additional information.... Please contact me via the Comments and I will get back in touch with you.

Blogger Hoff Sells House in North Minneapolis, Next Stop? El Paso, Texas

It has been a while since I have posted to this blog. I thought of just letting it drift off into the depths of Internet blogs without adding any new content but, I am a person who keeps his word.
Years ago, John Hoff wanted this blog deleted and I refused. His response was a blunt threat... Delete the blog or he will "first amendment retaliate" against me.
It was at that time, I told John that due to his relentless attacks against me, my former friend and many other people he had been attacking via his blog, that I will never let up on him. I will not let all of his misdeeds be forgotten. I will see to it that his past will remain with him no matter where he ends up in the future.

Hoff stated on his blog that he will remain in his house in North Minneapolis, forever. He was making it his permanent home after he has literally bounced all around the country during his adult life. Fast forward to 2017 and now 2018, Hoff once again, did not keep his word... No surprise there because, he has never shown himself to be a trustworthy person.

To the residents of North Minneapolis, you can rest easy because, John Hoff has sold his house on Bryant Ave. North. According to the county records, Hoff sold it for a nice profit after he bought it in the biggest real estate crash Minneapolis had ever seen. Imagine that! Hoff started his blog using real estate fraud as his motivation for his self-credited crusade against fraudsters. Here we are 10 years later and Hoff has profited nicely. Typical Hoff: Bash them when its popular & profit off them later.

So, now that he has sold his house in North Minneapolis, what do we know about where he is or where he is going?
We know he won't be going to Oklahoma to be a lawyer. Even though he passed the Bar Exam, the OK Board of Bar Examiners denied his application after a 2-day hearing was held over his moral character and fitness. They determined that things that he had done in the past are not acceptable for someone wanting to become a lawyer. Naturally Hoff attempted to appeal the ruling but, his argument was ruled as moot. With his tail tucked between his legs, Hoff went back to Minnesota and in October of 2017, he sold his house. So much for forever.

Maybe a dog, hawk or chupacabra is to blame in rabbit’s death

I am a former resident of El Paso from my regular Army days, thinking of retiring in the Sun City, and so I read the El Paso Times every day. The article by Aaron Martinez about the horrible bunny beheading described a terrible event, but I have to ask ... are we quite certain the act was committed by a human being?
In the early 1990s, my then-wife and I witnessed a pack of feral dogs snatch a rabbit from our enclosed porch area on Festival Drive. I will spare you the gory details, but the rabbit, named Bipper Bunny, did not survive the incident. She is buried beneath a mesquite tree near the apartment complex where we used to live. I visited the grave, such as it was, a couple of years ago with our teenage son, Alex.
You would think it would be hard for a big dog to get into a tiny enclosed porch, snatch a live rabbit, and immediately get back out with the rabbit in its mouth, but that hungry dog was MOTIVATED.
Based on that experience, I just have to wonder if some other critter — dog, hawk, roadrunner or the legendary chupacabra — might actually be responsible for this incident?
In any case, condolences to the owner of the rabbit. I hope you will find a new pet who needs your love and care.

Now that John's son is in college and doing well, he appears to have been spending some time in El Paso, Texas. What would lure him back to the city where he lived when his marriage began to crumble? Could he be trying to re-kindle the flames of a long lost love interest? Wait! Love interest? He was married when he lived in El Paso. Did Hoff stray from his then wife and have a fling on the side? Did his ex-wife find out about his infidelity and head for Seattle? We may never know for sure but, it looks like for the time being, Hoff has been spending time in El Paso... Much to the delight of the residents of NoMi.

Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners Finds "Tremendous" Student Loan Debt Owed By John Hoff

In 2004, John Hoff (semi-formally known as Johnny Northside) moved from Seattle, where he began his petty career of attacking and exploiting people, and settled in Grand Forks, ND.
He attended law school at the University of North Dakota and just a few years later, Hoff had a degree in Law. Imagine.... John Hoff, being a lawyer. That is a scary thought!

Thankfully, Hoff moved to Minneapolis after graduating while hauling very little in the move. A few of the things he brought with him included an entire State (North Dakota) being pissed off at him for his antics and a pile of student loan debt. Student loans are not a concern to most graduating law students as they are about to join the ranks as a lawyer.

Hoff was about to become dangerous. After he left Seattle, he was interviewed by the SeattleWeekly and offered a peek at what he planned to do after law school.

"After law school, Hoff says, he's going to start a law firm—specializing in record law, lesbian issues, and international space law—and open offices in Grand Forks, Hollywood, and . . . Seattle. Then, he adds confidently, he will get a state legislative seat, then make the jump to the US Senate as the first Green libertarian."

Fast forward more than a decade and we find that John Hoff fell just a bit short with making good on his claims. Actually, Hoff fell flat on his face because, he failed to deliver any of those claims. 

In 2013-'14, Hoff applied for, took and PASSED the Oklahoma Bar Exam. Thankfully,  the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners took a close look at Hoff's past during a 2-day Rule 11 hearing before the board in Oklahoma City in August 2014. It took a few months for the board to make sure their ruling would hold but, in October, 2014 the board denied Hoff a law license and after a failed bid to appeal the ruling, Hoff found himself holding his ass in his hands after the Oklahoma Bar Examiners handed it to him.

Fast forward one year and we have been blessed in a way because, John Hoff has slowed his blogging activities to a crawl. He has said that the blog is retired but, people know that the temptation to use his beloved blog to self-promote and/or bash someone will simply be too tempting for him to lay off completely.

Evidence of Unemployment Benefits Fraud Surfaces on John Hoff

The Adventures of Johnny Northside blog, owned by John Hoff, is said to be coming to an end.
To all the people who have endured his wrath, I tell you this... Johnny Northside will be over and done with.
With the end of Johnny Northside, it leaves one question though...

"What will happen with John Hoff?"

No one can really be sure what will happen with John Hoff but, with any luck, all of us will know or at least have reason to believe that John Hoff will be facing the consequences of his own demons. 

One of those demons is that Hoff is a fraud and, according to his own sworn testimony, appears to have committed fraud. What kind of fraud? Against who? 

How about the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

On April 30, 2014, John Hoff was asked to appear in Oklahoma City to submit a sworn statement (Deposition) to the attorney representing the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Hoff submitted an application in August, 2013 to take the Bar Examination for the purpose of becoming a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma. Information that questioned Hoff's ethics and character fitness was submitted to the board by several people, including the author of this Blog, Jim Watkins.

The Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners sent that information to their attorney who reviewed the documents and Hoff's application was investigated. The deposition consists of 225 pages of sworn testimony from John Hoff. The information contained in this post is found on pages 65-88. I did not want to post the entire 225-page document so, I took screen shots of the pages that contained testimony from Hoff that focused on his income and unemployment benefits.

Who Has Roommates Without Knowing Who They Are? John Hoff, That's Who

This Blog has reported and contended for years that John Hoff's house located at 2226 Bryant Ave. N, has been used as a non-licensed rental property in the City of Minneapolis versus being Hoff's Homestead and housing "Roommates."

On April 30, 2014, John Hoff was asked to appear in Oklahoma City to submit a sworn statement (Deposition) to the attorney representing the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Hoff submitted an application in August, 2013 to take the Bar Examination for the purpose of becoming a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma. Adventures of Johnny Northside Blog Set To Retire June 15, 2015 But, Misadventures Blog Will Continue With John Hoff Information

John Hoff has announced he will be stepping aside from his beloved blog in June 2015 but, as Hoff history has shown, it does not mean Hoff will discontinue his bullying ways. It merely means, he will refocus his personal attacks on people he does not like and find another way of doing it.

Hoff has been totally exposed now that the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners denied his application to join the Oklahoma Bar, even though Hoff completed and passed the bar exam.
Their decision was reached after holding a Rule 11 hearing that covered Hoff's character, moral fitness and respect for the law. I was a witness for the OBBE's and testifying against John was a gratifying experience. All of Hoff's misdeeds against others finally came back to haunt him.

Hoff's long history of bullying goes back long before he began blogging in 2008 and I expect him to continue his ways even more now that he has been disgraced from his quest of becoming a lawyer.
After his blog is put to rest, Hoff will be almost 50 years old and essentially starting over from scratch (his student loan debt will likely follow him to his grave), only his public image and credibility will make things more difficult for him. Not to mention, most of his family are at odds with him and likely won't offer him much support. According to his brother, Judd, John lied to him and his mother about his Oklahoma law license status as they had not been aware of a hearing being held.

Word is going around that John will be or already has been reported to the IRS for not claiming income earned in 2013 as well as the Minnesota Unemployment Commission for claiming benefits while not reporting income he earned in Oklahoma at that time. Both of those misdeeds were proven to be fact at the Rule 11 hearing before the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners.

It is the opinion of this blog author that once John is officially done with his Johnny Northside blog, he will be even more dangerous and pose a bigger threat to intensify his bullying because, he might feel he has nothing more to lose after he lost his credibility and dignity (he didn't really have much of those before).

This blog might explore a few changes to the layout or maybe alter the title but, the commitment to stand up to Hoff and his cyber attacks for people scorned by him in the past as well as hoping to prevent future attacks... Will remain a priority.

To close, I offer you the opportunity to read the 8-page notice of Appeal Hoff filed in November against the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners after his application to become a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association was denied. It really is entertaining to read some of his insane reasoning for the basis of his appeal.

Karma Visits Blogger John Hoff In A Big Way As Oklahoma Denies Law License

This Blog post is dedicated to every person who has suffered and endured the unfair attention of John Willard Hoff. 

This article is the first of many regarding north Minneapolis blogger John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside of the Adventures of Johnny Northside Blog and his quest to obtain a license to practice law in the State of Oklahoma.

Specific details involving the long process will follow in the weeks and months to come but, this post will be limited to the facts.

Johnny Northside's Own Family Lives In Fear Of His Ruthless Attacks Against Them

John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside is a blogger who writes about north Minneapolis issues and is widely considered to be a hypocrite who puts people he writes about in compromising positions and at times, even their own safety is put at risk. If one of his attacks does not get the results he wanted, he goes beyond them and attacked that person's family. 

In December of 2014, I was contacted by John Hoff's brother, Judd Hoff. Click HERE to read about that. At the end of that post, Judd submitted a long string of comments that covered a lot of issues Hoff's family has been facing because of what John has been doing. I didn't want Judd's words to become buried in the archives of comments so, I decided to re-publish his comments as a dedicated post. The following has been un-edited and posted exactly as it was submitted. 

Part 1:
I only know how to post anonymously, but this is Judd Hoff. I accept your apology. In knowing you a little over a month you have shown me more quality of character than the person formerly known as my brother has shown (not just to me but to me and everybody else) in a lifetime. I have been a good brother to him. I can't even count how many times over the years that I have provided him vehicles dirt cheap, or fixed his vehicles or given him tires. When he showed up, ALWAYS unannounced, my wife of 17 years and I would provide him with the food, shelter, clothing, and laundry use that he asked for. Suffice it to say that we have been thanked by him for all of these kindnesses with unprovoked legal attacks, threats and slander. He has treated me worse than I have ever been treated by anyone, even my worst enemies, in my entire life. He has upset my beautiful kind and gentle wife and attacked slandered and insulted her as well. (continued) 

Part 2:(continued) We live in constant fear of what lies he will spew about us next, and to whom. This stress has greatly harmed my family and exacerbated my poor wifes migraine and tension headaches. She is such a gentle and nonconfrontational person that it has also been very spiritually taxing on her as she has never before felt her own anger towards anyone so intensely. He has publicly questioned her abilities to homeschool our children, even though he knows absolutely NOTHING of our progress, curriculum, or daily routines. He has publicly questioned her ability to help take care of my aged mother-even though she diligently cooks and cleans for her and adheres to a strict low sodium diet with every meal that she lovingly prepares for her. Trista has known and loved my mother longer than she has known ME! And john knows absolutely NOTHING about what all goes on here on the home place and has been largely absent since 1986 although he is full of unsolicited advice and harsh criticisms anyways. (cont.) 

Part 3:(cont.) I swear i could go on for days about the disloyalty he has shown, the self-assured condescention and reeking arrogance he has displayed towards me in such an unfettered manner. Carelessly and recklessly meeting out assumptions and judgements of others as though he is some sort of precognitive genius or moral authority. I could tell you things about him that are so damningly embarrassing that he would probably jump off of a bridge if I did. ---So who the hell do you think you are, John? Acting like some online primadonna who can treat anyone any way that you want and get away with it? Then turn around and treat me that way-threatening to sic social services on us-who showed up two days later and assured us we are doing a fine job of parenting-unlike you the failure husband and father who can't even claim to have successfully raised a cat much less a child and turned the perrenial dodging of child support into a sceince. Did you think i was going to sit idley by while you (cont.) 

Part 4:(cont) parade yourself like some kind of caped crusading hero of the North Minneapolis blogosphere while you PRETEND to live there? Shaming and extorting people and provoking disenfranchised underprivledged marginalized inner-city black folks who can only dream of growing up the way you got to, although you routinely complain about it and describe it as 'struggling in rural poverty.' Well, at least Trista can take solace in the fact that you also called social services on your own MOTHER when HER best efforts weren't good enough for you EITHER as a bratty, arrogant and ungrateful teenager. I know where I WAS at the time-listening to them weeping tears of shame as overwhelming frustration and pain battered their broken hearts. Now I hear the same out of my wife on this farm that was never good enough for you-where you never hauled fire wood, chopped weeds, mowed the grass, plowed the snow, plumbed a piped, worked the fields or nailed a shingle. Your real good at interjecting yourself and trying (cont.) 

Part 5:(cont.) to foist yourself off as some sort of expert and authority into worlds and situation you know nothing of. Taking your premature ignorant assumptions about people and painting them in broad presumptuous strokes the intention of which is not to help or inform but rather for you own deluded and sick self-indulgment. You take sick sadistic delight and pleasure in exercising whatever power and control you can unfairly and momentarily grasp and forge weapons from to aim and hurl at others. In my case, with what you have tried to do to discredit me in the above fashion, I have the facts and evidence by which I can easily expose you and your attacks as frauds and lies, and we have already begun to unravel all the evil webs you spun against us, and the crap you threw against the wall has slid to the floor. The ugly mark it left is an undeserved reproach that we will most likely be forced to bear in the community where we ACTUALLY live and ACTUALLY RAISE our children and ACTUALLY work, unlike you (cont.) 

Part 6:(cont.) who can only feign such commonplace virtue. READER-I want you to know that I do not expose and lambast my own blood frivolously...he started this and has greatly sullied the otherwise happy and peaceful existence of my successful nuclear family of 17 years. He attempts to destroy me out of jealous hatred because I have succeeded at everything he has failed at...namely being a loving and INVOLVED son, husband, and father. We did nothing to provoke his attacks other than love him in spite of his caustic flaws and help him whenever we could. We are agreed as a family that John has become too great of a liability. He brings out the worst in people, and we have lived in fear of misdirected reprisals from those John has harmed since long before Jim's less serious indescretion...heyat least it was only onlind. John has attacked our home, our family, our CHILDREN, our security and our reputations AT HOME, where we were born and raised. So we do this out of a need to clarify to those who would (cont.) 

Part 7:(cont.) who would do us harm in order to get back at John-we have nothing in common with John and want nothing to do with him. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and would love it if you harmed us. Know that if john ever attempts to contact us again, as he has continued to do despite being asked not to-we will report it to the authorities and seek a restraining order. He has been told, even by his own mother, that he is a 'personna non grata' and to stay away from the home place. We publicy expose these matters mainly so that John's many enemies, knowing these things, will not seek to harm us any further. Jim, you are an outstanding example of positive transformation and spiritual growth. With a heavy heart I can only lament that John is incapable of displaying such attributes. Me and my beatiful family, are deeply embarrassed and ashamed by the way John treats people and acts publicy. 

So, dear reader, please help to protect us by letting everyone know that we do not want to be associated w John.

This isn't the best comparison but, this scene from The Gladiator shows Maximus returning home only to find that his innocent family had been slain. John Hoff is hardly a Gladiator (more of a weasel really) but, this is the type of fear that Judd Hoff is talking about as his brother routinely attacks people... Some of whom are very dangerous people. (Sorry about the quality)

Ugly Controversy Has a Name. It's Name is Johnny Northside

John Hoff has a history of positioning himself right in the middle of controversy. The topic is of no significance to Hoff AKA Johnny Northside, as long as his efforts are expected to be rewarded by seeing his name mixed into the mud pie. Some people might argue that he stands up for what is right and vows to fight. Then there are people like me, Jim Watkins who has studied Hoff's past, his activities, his fights, his attacks and when the dust begins to settle after his numerous crusades, the public can always count on Hoff's signature move rearing it's ugly head. 

Signature move? What on Gods green earth would that be???

It really consists of several things that all add up and become the signature move.
Here is how a Hoff controversy goes...

Hoff masterminds a scheme that he can blog about that will upset a group of people who want to fight back. Hoff's secret and Ace up his sleeve is the people he targets are people that the general public would not care to defend. Criminals have proven to serve his causes well.

Make A Deal With John Hoff and Get Stung Like A Bee Every Time

I got an email the other day from a person who has been crucified by John Hoff AKA Johnny Northsider in the past. I had sent them an earlier email to tell them Hoff was once again, going after attorney Jill Clark. Or at least posted the lawsuit that Clark had recently filed in Hennepin County.
For a guy who is wanting to get licensed to practice law... Following up on the most published, attacked subject in blog history, Jill Clark.... Is not the choice many other people would choose to write about.

During the years this blog has existed, there have been countless comparisons made involving Hoff when trying to explain so many of his mis-deeds. Some of the comparisons include: A slug, a yellow journalist (lower than Geraldo Rivera, a member of the Mafia, skid marks, etc., etc., etc.

The comparison that I was given in the email is simply outstanding and I think it deserves to be showcased with a post of its own.

Here is the comparison that was sent to me about John Hoff.

There once was a bee and an alligator that needed to cross the river that was flooding on the side they were on.
The bee couldn’t make it that far and the alligator wasn’t tall enough to navigate the river as it was near the waterfall.
They are mortal enemies that have fought for ages.  Finally when the river was just about to swallow them up they cut a deal.  They agreed that the bee wouldn’t give a deadly sting to the alligator while the alligator promised not to go under and drown the bee.
Soon they were off with the bee riding on the top of the alligator’s head navigating successfully across the river.  They were about half way across but, neither of them were in the safe zone where their individual abilities could save then alone.  All of the sudden the alligator felt the bee give him the deadly sting.
The Alligator yelled to the bee: “what are you thinking?  We were going to make it but, now we both will die?  What gives?”
The bee replies: “I’m sorry, I just couldn’t help myself….I am a bee and that is what I do.”

John Hoff  is stuck on the other side of the river and no one will give him a ride because, they all know what will happen to them if they try to reason with him.

Johnny Northside Blog Owner Uses Self as Anonymous Source. Raises Major Credibility Questions

If you give a blogger like John Hoff enough time, eventually he will hang himself.

The north Minneapolis "blog wars" have been going on now for over six years, going back to 2008. While the Misadventures blog was never intended to "compete" with John Hoff's blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside as Hoff has suggested over the years. I have long maintained that the purpose of this blog was to inform the public about John Hoff by posting facts about his past, his present and how he uses the first amendment as a weapon against anyone who merely rubs him the wrong way.
I have endured countless online attacks from Hoff and I have stuck with it. I have believed that sooner or later, John Hoff's actions will come back to bite him and I suspect his judgement day is near. VERY near. More on that later.

One thing Hoff has been accused of has been his unwillingness to reveal the identity of his "anonymous sources." Hoff's blog is full of posts that have relied on an anonymous source in order for it to appear to have any credibility. When the identity of a source has been questioned, Hoff has fed the public with journalistic fluff that mostly consists of Hoff saying we just have to trust him about his source being an expert or having first hand information. Part of his September 2012 attacks against me and his attempts to ruin my real estate reputation were based on a source that Hoff has refused to give up and he even claimed that he was "protecting them from being stalked."

The anonymous source is... JOHN HOFF aka JOHNNY NORTHSIDE of the Adventures of Johnny Northside Blog! 
This is no allegation either. This is a fact and the proof has been provided by one of the biggest bully bloggers on the Internet. JOHN HOFF has provided the proof that he has given some of his posts credibility by claiming his source is an expert but, that is now known to be a lie. 

On November 22, 2012, Hoff posted an article on his blog about TJ Waconia and he posted the link to the PDF file of the sentencing hearing transcript. Here is what he had to say about where the transcript came from and how it was paid for. Click here to see that post on AJNS

It was more than a month ago when I subscribed to the federal PACER system at the urging of a local attorney, who wanted me to get my own federal court system documents instead of begging them off him all the time. When I first took a whirl around PACER-o-topia, one of the first cases I wanted to explore was the plea deal and prison sentence for Helgason and Balko...
The coolest document in the bunch has to be the transcript of their hearing, which cost a pretty penny but, hey, PayPal donations. Not that many, but enough for a document now and then. Click here for the transcript, which is fairly long. (109 pages!) 

Fast forward to July 29, 2014. Hoff published the proof that he is actually his own anonymous source by going into a detailed lie about where the transcript came from and no mention of how it was paid for.

This sort of revelation is really disturbing to me because, aside from his own self-promoting as an award winning blog and his comments to the public that he is a journalist who prides himself in publishing the truth, he has the nerve to insult the public by looking them in the eye and... LYING!
No legitimate journalist would try to lie to the public like Hoff has and only a bottom dwelling liar would be so bold as to publish the proof of their lie.

I have a question for Mr. John Hoff.
If you lied about the information in this post, why should we believe a single thing that you have written about since you began blogging?

John Hoff Oklahoma Law License Update

I have to apologize to readers of this blog for not adding any content or updates until today. Actually, I don't have much to add but, that doesn't mean that there is nothing going on regarding John Hoff.
People and commenters have been asking what the current status is with Hoff and his application to become a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma.

Here is what I am able to say at this time...
Hoff's name was listed on the list of people who had taken the Bar Exam in February and passed. Those people attended a function where they were sworn in and given a license to practice law in Oklahoma. However, John Hoff was NOT among those who were sworn in because, the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners continues to investigate Hoff's character and fitness and respect for the law. Until the board gives their approval to the Oklahoma Bar Association, Hoff will not be given his license regardless of the fact that he has passed the Bar Exam. The status of the investigation has not been made public and I can't offer more information at this time.

I will post updates as information becomes available and is considered public information.

This is only my opinion but, my feeling is that John Hoff will end up being denied for a license to practice law. I think that with the number of unethical acts Hoff has committed in his recent past, it will be enough to finally catch up to him and pull him back off of his self-serving perch he has placed himself upon.

John Hoff's Employer Identified As Colclazier & Associates of Seminole, Oklahoma

Sorry for the delay in posting this information but, I have been dealing with another matter that continues to take up most of my time.

I have been able to confirm that John Hoff aka Johnny Northside has been staying in Oklahoma in recent months while working for Colclazier and Associates in a undetermined capacity. The law firm is located in Seminole, Oklahoma which is near the city of Ada.

Hoff submitted an application to the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners in early September 2013 to be allowed to take the Oklahoma Bar exam in hopes of becoming a licensed attorney  in the State of Oklahoma. Yes.... Oklahoma.
He has claimed on his blog that he has no plans to move from Minnesota so, I can only speculate that he has been maintaining his north Minneapolis address for residency while working in Oklahoma perhaps on a contract basis.

The law firm Hoff has been working for also employs Lloyd Palmer who is an attorney. Palmer is likely the person who encouraged Hoff to try to make use of his law degree that he obtained from the University of North Dakota nearly 10 years ago.
Hoff made mention of a buddy in one of his articles that was determined to be Sgt. Lloyd Palmer who was also in the same National Guard unit with Hoff,  the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

A reminder to all readers:
The next time the Bar exam will be offered in Oklahoma is February 2014. In order for John Hoff to be allowed to take the exam, he must pass a character fitness and background check by the Board of Examiners. They will look into the background for the moral character of Hoff and it is my belief that under no circumstances should John Hoff be allowed to take that exam nor should he be allowed the opportunity to become a licensed attorney in any State.

This blog entry is very unique because of the information it contains. Rather than the usual build up about John Hoff’s history before getting to the point of the post, I want to get right to the meat of the story and make the following announcement.

It has been confirmed that John Willard Hoff AKA Johnny Northside of the Adventures of Johnny Northside.com blog, has submitted an application recently with the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners to take the Bar exam to become a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma.

Up until this past week it had only been speculation that Hoff had been working in Oklahoma but, unclear in what capacity or for what purpose. I personally can’t claim to be 100% certain of how long he has been working there or who exactly he has been working there. A few sources have given me more specific information but, I decided to focus my attention on getting proof that John Hoff is trying to become a licensed attorney and I am now the first to report the news which was verified by the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Northside, Johnny Northside: Imaginary Secret Agent On The Move As Trackers Close In

I can just picture the scene in my head as I laugh uncontrollably. James Bond music starts playing as John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside, wait, I meant, 00 (as in Double "O") Northside walks across the screen, dressed to no frill in a suit that doesn't fit, his tie resembling a used car salesman's that only covers half his beer belly, then he turns and pulls his cell phone like Bond pulls his gun. 00-Hoff shows his cocky little grin as he knows he is the best secret agent since James Bond. The sad thing about that scene is John Hoff probably played that role in his mind so many times that he starts to see himself as someone he isn't.

He was born John Hoff. Since then he has become John Hoffman, the author of two critically acclaimed books (sarcasm) on Dumpster Diving and then he became Northside... Johnny Northside.

Arrest Information Found On John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside

One of the more "ballsy" things blogger John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside does is copy the monthly Hennepin County Jail Roster before it is removed from the county website and re-publishes the list on his own blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside.

Since he began posting the jail rosters on his blog, several people whose names have appeared on the list have contacted Hoff, asking him to remove their name from the list. Hoff has publicly ridiculed many of those people and has even published the emails that were sent to him. His attitude about removing names has been "Too bad! You shouldn't have gotten arrested!"

All one has to do in order to get put on the original county jail roster is get arrested. It does not matter if charges are ever filed or dropped because, the jail roster is merely a list of people who were arrested. However, the mere fact that a person had been arrested has been enough for prospective employers to pass on hiring someone after they discovered the applicants name on the jail roster published on Hoff's blog.

Several months ago Hoff outdid himself by manipulating people on the list by announcing on his blog that he is willing to remove a person's name from the list (only what is published on HIS site) for... Activist Megan Goodmundson Makes North Minneapolis A Better Place... By Leaving!

I have to admit that I am not exactly reporting on up to the minute news with this but, better late than never.
Long time north Minneapolis activist Megan Goodmundson is no longer living in NoMi. In fact, she is no longer living in the Twin Cities. Several sources have confirmed that Megan Goodmundson no longer lives in her house on Newton Ave. N in Minneapolis after moving north of the cities to the Minnesota town of New York Mills. According to the New York Mills city council minutes from December 2012, Goodmundson had been hired by Kim Hoban who manages the local liquor store/bar as a part-time bartender. Blogger Johnny Northside Is Helped by "Low Income Property Mogul" Then Turns Against "Slumlords"

After being a more or less, "John Hoff historian" for the past five years, my reactions to so many of his two-faced, hypocritical and even "thuggish" writings and actions have become somewhat numbed as I am not easily surprised by him anymore. This post is one of the rare times I sit back after discovering Hoff had done something particularly disturbing and think to myself, 'Good God! This slug would think nothing of stealing a toddlers piggy-bank!' (Note: In his Dumpster Diving book he admitted to looting change from a wishing well pool but, that is another story)

Hoff aka Johnny Northside, has done everything he could think of in his attempt to make a name for himself during his self-promoting tour of north Minneapolis. As previously pointed out on this blog, Hoff has gone on an all-out attack against people who the general public would not want to defend. Among some of those targets are Level 3 Sex Offenders, gang members, local residents he has deemed "shady" and one of his favorites to attack... Rental property owners that he has constantly referred to as "Slumlords."

In 2010, Hoff wrote a 24-page plea for "mercy" to the judge in his delinquent child support case that gave an almost play by play description of his life from the early 90's to the present (at that time it was 2010).
In that document, Hoff wrote about two separate times when his very survival was greatly assisted by two people he referred to as "low income rental property mogul" and "low income property mogul(s)."

Blogger Hoff Lies About Where His Donation Money Was Used

Blogger John Hoff owns Minneapolis' most controversial blog,  The Adventures of Johnny Northside.
One of the main purposes for the Misadventures of Johnny Northside blog is to inform the public about Hoff and his past, current and even future wrongdoings. We have documented several instances where Hoff lied to any number of people who range from everyday people who read his blog up to but, not limited to, the Veteran's Administration and at least one judge.

Hoff's biggest enemy is not me, Jim Watkins (as Hoff has stated). Rather it is himself. He gets caught up in the minor publicity that comes with being sued for getting someone fired and LOSING, resulting in a $60,000 judgement against him. For Hoff to appeal the case, he needed roughly $4000 to file the appeal. It ended up being paid by a free speech group that joined his case as a "friend of the court."

Since March of 2011, which is right after he lost round 1 of the "Trial of the Century" (that too was a name Hoff decided to attach to his case), Hoff's homepage on his blog has been soliciting cash donations to help "defend the first amendment." Below is the copy of his plea for money.
