Evidence of Unemployment Benefits Fraud Surfaces on John Hoff

The Adventures of Johnny Northside blog, owned by John Hoff, is said to be coming to an end.
To all the people who have endured his wrath, I tell you this... Johnny Northside will be over and done with.
With the end of Johnny Northside, it leaves one question though...

"What will happen with John Hoff?"

No one can really be sure what will happen with John Hoff but, with any luck, all of us will know or at least have reason to believe that John Hoff will be facing the consequences of his own demons. 

One of those demons is that Hoff is a fraud and, according to his own sworn testimony, appears to have committed fraud. What kind of fraud? Against who? 

How about the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

On April 30, 2014, John Hoff was asked to appear in Oklahoma City to submit a sworn statement (Deposition) to the attorney representing the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Hoff submitted an application in August, 2013 to take the Bar Examination for the purpose of becoming a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma. Information that questioned Hoff's ethics and character fitness was submitted to the board by several people, including the author of this Blog, Jim Watkins.

The Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners sent that information to their attorney who reviewed the documents and Hoff's application was investigated. The deposition consists of 225 pages of sworn testimony from John Hoff. The information contained in this post is found on pages 65-88. I did not want to post the entire 225-page document so, I took screen shots of the pages that contained testimony from Hoff that focused on his income and unemployment benefits.

John Hoff has announced he will be stepping aside from his beloved blog in June 2015 but, as Hoff history has shown, it does not mean Hoff will discontinue his bullying ways. It merely means, he will refocus his personal attacks on people he does not like and find another way of doing it.

Hoff has been totally exposed now that the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners denied his application to join the Oklahoma Bar, even though Hoff completed and passed the bar exam.
Their decision was reached after holding a Rule 11 hearing that covered Hoff's character, moral fitness and respect for the law. I was a witness for the OBBE's and testifying against John was a gratifying experience. All of Hoff's misdeeds against others finally came back to haunt him.

Hoff's long history of bullying goes back long before he began blogging in 2008 and I expect him to continue his ways even more now that he has been disgraced from his quest of becoming a lawyer.
After his blog is put to rest, Hoff will be almost 50 years old and essentially starting over from scratch (his student loan debt will likely follow him to his grave), only his public image and credibility will make things more difficult for him. Not to mention, most of his family are at odds with him and likely won't offer him much support. According to his brother, Judd, John lied to him and his mother about his Oklahoma law license status as they had not been aware of a hearing being held.

Word is going around that John will be or already has been reported to the IRS for not claiming income earned in 2013 as well as the Minnesota Unemployment Commission for claiming benefits while not reporting income he earned in Oklahoma at that time. Both of those misdeeds were proven to be fact at the Rule 11 hearing before the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners.

It is the opinion of this blog author that once John is officially done with his Johnny Northside blog, he will be even more dangerous and pose a bigger threat to intensify his bullying because, he might feel he has nothing more to lose after he lost his credibility and dignity (he didn't really have much of those before).

This blog might explore a few changes to the layout or maybe alter the title but, the commitment to stand up to Hoff and his cyber attacks for people scorned by him in the past as well as hoping to prevent future attacks... Will remain a priority.

Ugly Controversy Has a Name. It's Name is Johnny Northside

John Hoff has a history of positioning himself right in the middle of controversy. The topic is of no significance to Hoff AKA Johnny Northside, as long as his efforts are expected to be rewarded by seeing his name mixed into the mud pie. Some people might argue that he stands up for what is right and vows to fight. Then there are people like me, Jim Watkins who has studied Hoff's past, his activities, his fights, his attacks and when the dust begins to settle after his numerous crusades, the public can always count on Hoff's signature move rearing it's ugly head. 

Signature move? What on Gods green earth would that be???

It really consists of several things that all add up and become the signature move.

Make A Deal With John Hoff and Get Stung Like A Bee Every Time

I got an email the other day from a person who has been crucified by John Hoff AKA Johnny Northsider in the past. I had sent them an earlier email to tell them Hoff was once again, going after attorney Jill Clark. Or at least posted the lawsuit that Clark had recently filed in Hennepin County.
For a guy who is wanting to get licensed to practice law... Following up on the most published, attacked subject in blog history, Jill Clark.... Is not the choice many other people would choose to write about.

During the years this blog has existed, there have been countless comparisons made involving Hoff when trying to explain so many of his mis-deeds. Some of the comparisons include: A slug, a yellow journalist (lower than Geraldo Rivera, a member of the Mafia, skid marks, etc., etc., etc.

The comparison that I was given in the email is simply outstanding and I think it deserves to be showcased with a post of its own.

Here is the comparison that was sent to me about John Hoff.

There once was a bee and an alligator that needed to cross the river that was flooding on the side they were on.
The bee couldn’t make it that far and the alligator wasn’t tall enough to navigate the river as it was near the waterfall.
They are mortal enemies that have fought for ages.  Finally when the river was just about to swallow them up they cut a deal.  They agreed that the bee wouldn’t give a deadly sting to the alligator while the alligator promised not to go under and drown the bee.
Soon they were off with the bee riding on the top of the alligator’s head navigating successfully across the river.  They were about half way across but, neither of them were in the safe zone where their individual abilities could save then alone.  All of the sudden the alligator felt the bee give him the deadly sting.
The Alligator yelled to the bee: “what are you thinking?  We were going to make it but, now we both will die?  What gives?”
The bee replies: “I’m sorry, I just couldn’t help myself….I am a bee and that is what I do.”

John Hoff can be compared to the bee. The alligator is like most people and usually don't bother with other people's issues and they make good on their word.
Not the bee.
John Hoff  is stuck on the other side of the river and no one will give him a ride because, they all know what will happen to them if they try to reason with him. 

HE cannot help himself….it is what he is.

Blogger Hoff Pursuing License to Practice Law in Oklahoma, Must Pass Moral & Character Fitness Check

This blog entry is very unique because of the information it contains. Rather than the usual build up about John Hoff’s history before getting to the point of the post, I want to get right to the meat of the story and make the following announcement.

It has been confirmed that John Willard Hoff AKA Johnny Northside of the Adventures of Johnny Northside.com blog, has submitted an application recently with the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners to take the Bar exam to become a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma.

Up until this past week it had only been speculation that Hoff had been working in Oklahoma but, unclear in what capacity or for what purpose. I personally can’t claim to be 100% certain of how long he has been working there or who exactly he has been working there. A few sources have given me more specific information but, I decided to focus my attention on getting proof that John Hoff is trying to become a licensed attorney and I am now the first to report the news which was verified by the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Now on with the story…

Arrest Information Found On John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside

One of the more "ballsy" things blogger John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside does is copy the monthly Hennepin County Jail Roster before it is removed from the county website and re-publishes the list on his own blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside.

Since he began posting the jail rosters on his blog, several people whose names have appeared on the list have contacted Hoff, asking him to remove their name from the list. Hoff has publicly ridiculed many of those people and has even published the emails that were sent to him. His attitude about removing names has been "Too bad! You shouldn't have gotten arrested!"

All one has to do in order to get put on the original county jail roster is get arrested. It does not matter if charges are ever filed or dropped because, the jail roster is merely a list of people who were arrested. However, the mere fact that a person had been arrested has been enough for prospective employers to pass on hiring someone after they discovered the applicants name on the jail roster published on Hoff's blog.

Several months ago Hoff outdid himself by manipulating people on the list by announcing on his blog that he is willing to remove a person's name from the list (only what is published on HIS site) for... Blogger John Hoff AKA Johnny Northside went on a rampage against this blogger with the intention of ruining my professional reputation while smearing me personally at the same time. He published a three part series on his blog that started in September of 2012 and continued into November. Just a few short years ago Hoff sent me an email that more or less said, "Back off of me or I will be forced to First Amendment Retaliate and ruin your career." Readers of this blog know that I did not back down to his threat. It took Hoff a few years but, he did finally carry out his threat and the previous post on this Blog documented proof that his attack has yet to stop.

My time has finally allowed me to address some of the lies and partial truths he published in his 3-part attack against me. This is Part I of my series of setting the record straight.

2013 Marks Over Five Years Of Blogging For The Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside Blog, Once Deemed a "Bastard Child of a Blog" and "Brief Amusement"

Happy 2013 to all the readers of the Mis-Adventures blog!
The last few months of 2012 were busy ones for me and I didn't post much on this blog as a result. However, that is not saying there was nothing John Hoff-related to post. Hoff was plenty busy keeping up with his attacks against me both on his blog as well as other sites on the Internet. In the coming weeks I will be addressing some of them and ignoring the rest as they tend to be both non-sense and/or repetitive.
I will also be posting my long-overdue response to Hoff's post, "Afraid To Visit North Minneapolis Himself, Evil Anti-Johnny Sends "Proxy Fraidy Cat" To This Blogger's House, Chapter Three Of The Evil Anti-Johnny Book Of Revelations.." 
Consider it the other side to the story if you like but, as I will explain, about the only story involved was the above mentioned post on Hoff's blog and how he came up with such a crazy, far-fetched and some of it simply un-true analysis of the otherwise un-eventful encounter.

The Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside blog began back in August of 2008 and within days of its birth, Hoff posted his response/opinion to it on his blog. Here is the link to that post... Hoff on the Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside. In that post, Hoff first referred to me as the "Anti Johnny" and called this blog a "Bastard Child Of A Blog" and "Brief Amusement". Here we are in 2013, over five years since it first appeared online and I can say that John Hoff was mistaken. He was mistaken because, the Mis-Adventures has been alive and well since and is only five months younger than his "long running" blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside.
This is only my opinion but, with all the content this blog has brought to the public about Hoff and what is soon to come... This blog has been anything but, a "brief amusement" to John Hoff.

North Minneapolis "Yellow Journalist" John Hoff, Uses Non-Existent Sources (allegedly)

John Hoff has said on his blog many times, "I do what I want." Hoff has prided himself an promoted himself (and his blog) as being a "Journalist" while rarely complying with the Journalist's Code of Ethics. Hey... He does what he wants and you better not challenge him or you will face his wrath as he becomes an "800-pound gorilla." (Yes, he has said that many times.)

The person who was stabbed to death on 18th & Lyndale Avenue north on Friday September 21, 2012 has been identified as Evander Lazar Partee, a 46 year old Black male who resided in the 2100 bock of Glenwood Avenue North.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, "The above individual died as a result of a stab wound to the chest. Manner of death is Homicide. Minneapolis Police are investigating." 

Mr. Partee had a very minor record with the courts including a driving after revocation conviction in 2006, and a urination in public citation in April 2012.

Mr. Partee's death is another tragic incident of violence in north Minneapolis.

You got the facts here before it was posted on JohnnyNorthside. John Hoff tried to break this story Saturday morning in his blog claiming he had beaten all the major media outlets, only to be proven dead wrong. Major media had the story out within 30 minutes on Twitter and online shortly after, Hoff didn't have it in his blog until hours later. And even then he couldn't admit he made a mistake, trashing the major media for using social networks to break the news. John Hoff is just bitter because he was banned from Twitter several years ago.

Every once in a while the MisAdventures of Johnny Northside gets a nice treat that really serves as justification and sometimes "proof" of what is written about John Hoff on this blog. Today we received one of those treats! This blog has stated from the start that publicity, good or bad is one of the main driving forces of John Hoff and that he is his own worst enemy in that regard because, he simply can't shut up when he is written about negatively somewhere on the Internet. He can't shut up and resist commenting even if it proves the authors point about John being a publicity whore. John Hoff aka Johnny Northside read this post about him and after he read what someone said in their comments about him... John felt compelled to verify the comments and submitted the following comments to this blog.... (and I say, THANK YOU JOHN!)

Johnny Northside Security Camera Not What He Claims

Johnny Northside aka John Hoff, is getting more and more paranoid. Recently he announced  on his blog that he (actually he said his roommate did it) has installed a remote access security camera. He went on to suggest that it has similar abilities to military camera's which (hardly) allow him to... "tell if a dog is taking a piss or a crap at 500 yards based on the heat signature".

There are a few things that warrant some clarification with regards to what John claimed in his post as well as some observations I made.
The camera pictured appears to be an "IP Wireless WiFi Pan Tilt Zoom PTZ Security Camera With Support For Internet or Smart Phone Viewing." Click here for specs
The IR (night vision) capability is listed at 10 meters (3 feet, 3 inches per meter). That is the maximum range. The camera pictured appears to have 12 IR illuminators and based off my personal experience with night vision camera's, the camera Hoff uses would be lucky to see past his own sidewalk at night. You can also see the very obvious power cord coming out of it and appears to be plugged into an extension cord that is run along the ceiling. The cord is to power the camera, the base unit and the transmitter which sends a wireless signal to a receiver that is almost certainly inside the house. Wireless signals can be intercepted and viewed using a video scanner. I should also mention that wireless camera's almost always produce an image that has distortion.

Let me put all of that into perspective... The camera Hoff claims he has operating at 2226 Bryant Ave. N. is a wireless camera that is not capable of seeing past his side of the street at night and the image it does produce will always have some distortion in it which means it does not produce a clean, clear picture. Plus, the camera is sitting on a folding clair on his porch with either a storm window or a screen is directly in front of it. What that means is that the IR illuminators will bounce off the window/screen in front of the camera right back at the camera which severely limits what the camera can see. It is like aiming a camera directly at the sun.

Hoff also claims to have TWO roommates. IF that is true, it would mean that there are at least three adults living at his house (John has said he also resides there). Hoff has gotten around having to get a rental license for the property (which would require an inspection that would NOT pass based off of the TISH repairs he did not complete as promised) by claiming he has roommates that live with him. The house has only 2 bedrooms according to county records and for Hoff to live there, it would mean he "rigged" another room in the house to serve as a bedroom and according to county records... He did not obtain a permit to do so.
It is my opinion that John Hoff does not live at 2226 Bryant Ave. N. and that opinion is based off of conversations I have had with neighbors who live on his block. In fact, one long time resident on his block told me that Hoff has not been seen in over a year.  This information has been passed on to the city of Minneapolis and Hennepin County.

Lastly, here is the link to Hoff's blog post about my idea for the city to mount signs that say the area is under video surveillance (the sign in the post was designed by me and I sent a copy to John to put on his site). Click to read.  My idea was to only put signs up but, only dummy camera's would be put up which would make people THINK there are camera's recording what is going on. After reading Hoff's post about his new video camera at his house, I would not be a bit surprised if the camera he has is not a working one at all. Merely a ploy to make people think there is a camera recording what is going on outside his house. He has good reason to do such a thing because, he continues to attack various north Minneapolis residents he see's as "Thugs" by posting pictures of them and personal information about them on his blog. In other words... He has been pissing off a lot of people and they reportedly have not appreciated what he has said about them.

Keep running John! Sooner or later... You will be held accountable for your Internet bullying.

John Hoff continues his attack on attorney Jill Clark of Minneapolis. He recently posted The Madness of Jill Clark Part Eight ( Click here to read ) on his blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside. Seriously... Part EIGHT!

As painful as it is to read through all the banter contained in those posts, it appears that the  over all message is to publicly discredit Jill Clark. He rants about how she is a bad lawyer (not his exact words) and how he predicts that the "end is near" for her. On and on he goes with no end in sight as he has now published part EIGHT!

While reading his drivel that he claims is fair criticism while being a "journalistic" blog, I had an interesting thought on the matter...

Hoff claims that Jill Clark is a bad lawyer (based on his EIGHT posts on his blog about her). So, lets just say that his claim is accurate (hypothetical) and that Clark is a bad attorney. As many readers know, the case of Moore v. Hoff aka the "Trial of the Century" (which I would consider must be a huge, monumental case to be called that) was led by.... Attorney Jill Clark. In that case, Hoff was the Defendant and Clark represented the Plaintiff.  That said, here is my interesting thought....

"IF" Jill Clark, who litigated against Hoff in the Trial of the Century, is indeed a bad attorney (as Hoff insists), then what does that say about John Hoff? Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot to mention that Jill Clark WON that case! The jury ruled AGAINST Hoff! 

In my humble opinion, any attorney who WINS a "Trial of the Century" must be a pretty damned good attorney! Take into consideration that the LOSER in that case just happens to be the same person who has posted EIGHT anti-Clark articles on his blog... Well, it is pretty clear why John Hoff continues his personal attacks against Jill Clark. 

Hoff is a sore loser if I ever saw one. 

First Amendment V. John Hoff. Review Of "Dumpster Diving" And Who Johnny Northside Really Is. Part 2

...Only Hoff attacks unprovoked

Today's review covers the third chapter, "Advanced Dumpster Based Media Manipulation" in John Hoff's book, "Dumpster Diving, The Advanced Course."

As I was reading this chapter, I kept shaking my head and thinking to myself, 'He's serious!' 

Yes, he was serious and I know it to be true because, since he wrote the book in 2002, he has done many of the things he explained in the book in his every day life, mostly on his blog. (when I say "things" a better term might be 'criminal manipulations')

On page 21, he compared media manipulation to blackjack with this statement...

"Media manipulation is like a blackjack table where you play with free chips, chips that you can cash in for real value. The only risk is to a person's credibility if he/she just gets too damned excited about a piece of nothing."

 On page 22, he made another statement that I found to be typical of Johnny Northside in a hypocritical way because, when someone comments on his blog about something that is not current, he lashes out against them and brushes their comment aside by stating that "its old" and "nobody cares anymore." Here is what the dumpster diver said...

"There's a saying in journalism that may be the wind at your back or the fart in your face: Old shit doesn't stink unless you stir it up.' "

All I can say to that is... My, how charming.
Of course we all know that John is an "activist" as he has stated so many times. The following two images are photos taken of the text in the book from page 22. A "Tight shot of my ass???" "Unable to resist his animated face???" Wow! I bet the people at the StarTribune must run towards the bathroom every time they see their "little Nielsen Week Slut Boy" come across the Caller ID. This is only my opinion but, "slut boy" would not be how I would describe John Hoff. I think the term "Attention whore" is much more accurate.
This next image shows that John takes credit given to himself for accomplishing what he said in the quotes above.

Good God! I think this guy has seen one too many James Bond movies and has molded himself after all of Bonds' crazy, psychopathic, bad guy mastermind enemies.
For the readers who don't know this but, John Hoff has a law degree. He is NOT an attorney (my guess is because he knows he can't get licensed for free and that he would be held to strict ethical standards) but, he loves to portray himself on his blog as a superior legal scholar.  This next quote from his book he does the same thing.

In the next two quotes, John goes into detail about how to utilize the Internet to attract the print media to help set off a "publicity firestorm." Somehow I just can't convince myself that the first amendment was created to protect people like John Hoff.

My review of chapter 3 of John "Dr. Evil" Hoff's book closes with two more quotes of his that really speak for themselves. I say that mostly because, no sane, law abiding, sensible person would likely ever think of something like these quotes and if they did think them, I would guess that their common sense would see to it that they never SAY them.

"You can change the whole world. All you need is a little luck, and this is a game you can play for free, baby. You are holding the butterfly of chaos in your hands, and you can feel the flutter of wings that will unleash hurricanes"

"Butterfly of chaos?" Really? I might compare him to maybe the 'fruit fly of the kitchen' or the 'gnat of annoyance' but, its HIS quote so, I just hope I don't find myself thinking of Hoff the next time I see a peaceful butterfly.

I wonder what his current government buddies like Don Samuels, Mayor Rybak and Barb Johnson will think when they see this quote? It is kind of ironic in a way with John saying, "it is vital to the" yada yada yada "that corporate and government evil be exposed" because, exposing John Hoff aka Johnny Northside the "Activist" is exaxtly the function of this blog.

Johnny Northside Inspires 'First Amendment Appreciation Month'

 Johnny Northside AKA John Hoff has announced on his blog that he will not publish certain comments because, too many trolls have attacked him, his uniform, his house, his tires, his..... You get the idea.
(Note: He never hesitates to attack anyone yet, he has had enough against him.)
The kicker? John didn't just say he won't publish certain 'troll' comments. Nope. John went and put a spin on it that somehow makes his one month ban some sort of American tribute and even called it "virtual national security."
I just think he is a 'virtual' idiot. Just my $0.02 cents.

His post got me thinking and I find it all very ironic. This is the same John Hoff who has stated in public that the "first amendment is under attack" as he refers to his $60,000 loss in court that he has tried to make into a first amendment case. We all know the judge upheld the ruling and just read the previous post for more info on that.
Now John Hoff is showing his respect for the first amendment by RESTRICTING the same rights of others' by not allowing them a voice on his blog! REALLY! Click here to read it yourself.

It is with great pleasure and American pride that the MisAdventures of Johnny Northside blog has the following announcement to make...

For a period of one month, from September 11, 2011 until October 11, 2011, this blog will not attempt to submit a single comment to Johnny Northside's blog AND we hereby make this public plea to all the Johnny Northside 'Trolls' (as he calls commenters he disagrees with) to NOT SUBMIT ANY COMMENTS to his blog during that time.
Rather than submit comments to his anti-first amendment blog, we encourage all people to post the truth about John Hoff to ANY other website as a tribute and appreciation as Americans to the first amendment that I am hereby dubbing "First Amendment Appreciation Month."
I ask anyone who shows their appreciation of the first amendment in honor of John Hoff, to only post things about him that are true.
After all, we don't want to give him a reason to "First Amendment Retaliate" against anyone.

Alexander David Joins MisAdventures of Johnny Northside Blog!

In recent weeks, I have been approached by several people who have expressed an interest in becoming a regular contributor to this blog. Alexander David and I have exchanged many emails and the information about John Hoff that he has compiled, along with a strong desire to share it.... Well, I just want to be the first to say to Alexander, "Welcome to the team!"
In the coming months, this blog will be welcoming several more contributors and I can't wait!

So I’m sure that everyone knows that Minneapolis blogger John W. Hoff was slapped with a $60,000 judgment by a jury for his harassment and infliction of emotional distress on Jerry Moore, who lost his job at the University of Minnesota due to John Hoff’s “working behind the scenes” to force the UofM to fire Moore. Actually, what Hoff did was to “blackmail” the UofM by communicating to them that if they did not fire Moore, he would use his blog to start a negative publicity campaign.

The Fourth Judicial District court judge, Denise Reilly, affirmed the jury verdict after Hoff filed a motion to overturn the verdict. In her ruling she basically stated that Hoff’s actions “behind the scenes” were cause to uphold the verdict. Or in other words, this case is really not a 1st amendment issue; it’s not about what Hoff published in his blog.

Since Judge Reilly’s ruling Hoff has been making all sorts of big talk in his blog about all of his supporters that are going to file “amicus briefs” to support him.

One commenter to Hoff’s “Johnny Northside” blog challenged Hoff to publically state who all his supporters are writing, “You keep mentioning all the lawyers who are filing amicus briefs. Please tell us who is lining up to file amicus briefs for your appeal. As I hear it, after Judge Reilly's opinion, most everyone is walking away. So, please give us names of people and names of organizations that have signed on to file amicus briefs to the Minnesota Court of Appeals on your behalf.”

John Hoff posted a response that is more ridiculous than he claims the question was, “You are being ridiculous. Like I would ever just HAND you that information before it becomes public and give you a tactical advantage.” This response is absolute nonsense and I’ll explain why. But first readers need to know that John Hoff has a law degree, and he knows the process for filing an amicus brief.

In Minnesota, to submit a "friend of the Court brief" known as a brief of amicus curiae, you are required to submit a motion to the Court of Appeals, asking for permission to participate in the case. That motion must be copied to all parties involved, and are public. And those motions must be submitted early on so the COA can approve or deny them based on "why" they want to participate. Or in other words, the COA doesn't want several "friends" submitting briefs on the same point, creating an unnecessary duplication of arguments.

So the reality is that Hoff would not be providing a tactical advantage to anyone by stating who his supporters are, because anyone wanting to submit an amicus brief must announce their intentions early on in the appeals process.

Rather, I would suggest John Hoff’s refusal to provide even a clue as to who his supporters are is an admission that he really has none. As a matter of fact, I submitted a comment to his blog (that he refused to publish – more on that in a moment) telling him that I had information that the attorney who represented him at trial, Paul Godfread, had not yet agreed to represent John Hoff at his appeal. After all, Godfread was retained as a 1st amendment expert attorney by an outside organization. But now that Judge Reilly has quantified that this is not a 1st amendment issue, but about John Hoff being a first class asshole, why would he represent Hoff.

The day after I submitted that comment to Hoff about Godfread not being onboard, he published a blog article announcing that his blog was going to be “troll free”, meaning he was no longer going to publish comments that he didn’t like. And clearly he didn’t like my comment about being abandoned by his attorney. Publishing that comment would be a sign of defeat, and that is not something John Hoff could ever face.

John Hoff is clearly a narcissist, and most likely a sociopath, and when you combine those characteristics you have a very conflicted personality. Someone like that frequently lives in fantasy, and has considerable difficulty facing reality and the truth. In this case John Hoff simply cannot accept the reality that he will be on his own during this appeal. In his fantasy world he thinks he is surrounded by supporters. Yet, after the jury verdict, John Hoff contacted the National Guard and made arrangements to be transferred to a unit that was being deployed to Afghanistan where he is currently stationed. Why? Because he cannot face the jury’s truthful decision that he was wrong, nor can he face the reality that he now owes a judgment of $60,000 plus interest and costs, so he ran away to a neutral location.

And why has he made his blog “troll” free? Because he cannot face the truth, nor can he afford to let comments that state the truth become public and attack his fantasy world. So much like his retreat to Afghanistan, he has put up a wall to his blog so he can retreat into his own little blogging fantasy world where he has stopped bragging about the, “1st amendment trial of the century”, and now blogs a neutral topic about milkshakes in a Thai deli.

The reality is that big bad bully blogger John Hoff is nothing but a coward when faced with the truth. Truth is something he always runs away from. Not a good situation for a soldier fighting in Afghanistan.

Nomi Passenger Back For Another Ride?

A recent comment from Megan on John's blog today prompted me to check the list of contributors on the blog and sure enough, Megan aka Nomi Passenger is back on the list.

Best guess is John went back to her because, it is pretty hard to keep up with anything in Minneapolis when he is never there anymore.
Maybe John will post his Jail Roster-Rama that has Megan's assault arrest info on it? Pffft! Yeah right!

Trouble in Paradise? The Johnny Northside - Nomi Passenger Show Over?

While scanning over the content on the Adventures of Johhny Northside I noticed that the recent posts have all been submitted by Johnny Northside and not "Nomi Passenger" aka Megan Goodmundson. Note: That is the same Megan Goodmundson who was arrested for 5th Degree Assault and Interfering with a 911 Emergency Call click here to read about Megans arrest.
Nomi Passenger had been writing the majority of the posts on the JNS blog since the start of the Summer... Right about the time Johnny Northside the reserve was called to active duty by the National Guard and sent to Afghanistan.

Nomi Passenger last posted on Johnny Northside's blog on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. When I scanned the blog today, I noticed that Nomi Passenger was no longer on the list of authors who contribute by posting on the blog.  Below is a screen shot taken a few minutes ago.

It is not yet known who dumped who.
I am taking an educated guess here but, I would say that Megan was the one to dump Johnny Northside. My reasoning is that Megan is far more valuable to John while he is overseas. With Megan still in north Minneapolis, she is able to keep tabs on John's illegal rental property (there is no rental license on record and there is another male currently living in the house). She can keep John up to date on the happenings in the neighborhood and she is able to access the edit mode of his site when he is not able to do so. Those are just a few reasons.

It makes me wonder if the alleged break-up and removal from Johnny's blog means that John has also stripped her of the title "Super Citizen?" Maybe Megan needs a boyfriend that is actually near her? If that is the case, she doesn't seem to be very dedicated to the relationship. It has been suggested on this blog and others that John, Megan, Jeff Skrenes aka Hawthorne Hawkman and others are self-serving and not the upstanding community activists that they claim to be. If indeed that Megan dumped Johnny Northside, it would support the notion that she is looking out for herself. Who really knows? If a reader has some inside information, please submit it in the comments and make a note there if you want the comments published. Or submit your email address and I will contact you there and not publish your email address.

Things have slowed down on this blog in the last few months and the explanation is simple. When John Hoff aka Johnny Northside is not spewing garbage (running his mouth all over town and the net), then the Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside blog slows down as well.

I have said it many times on this blog as well as others... The purpose of this blog is to provide mass information to the public about John Hoff and his history. This information has been collected mostly from the Internet and some from various court houses. In other words, the information on this blog is accurate. There are a few exceptions when content is a matter of opinion and the post states that accordingly.

Northside Activist Megan Goodmundson: Criminal Complaint & Statement of Facts

I do wonder if Megan Goodmundson told her boyfriend, John Hoff that she spent two days in jail after she was arrested for 5th Degree Assault and Interfering with an Emergency Telephone Call in 2000? Would Johnny Northside had told her to sit back and let him do the cyber bullying because, he knew what it would do to her credibility and even his, if anyone was to locate the arrest information?

Well, toss that onto the pile of "things that make you go, Hmmmm" because, a northside resident who was attacked by Megan and John in the past decided to go down to the County and have a look at their database that is not available online. You can imagine their surprise when they found the arrest record for NoMi Super-Citizen, Megan Goodmundson! The only regret I have is not being able to see the reaction of Megan as she re-visits a hot-tempered time of her life, right here on this blog!

I just have to grin after reading several comments on http://www.johnnynorthside.com/ where people who were on the jail roster pleaded with Johnny Northside and NomiPassenger to please remove their name from John's website because, even though the reason they were arrested was minor, the fact that the information was no longer public on the County site but, was available on JNS' blog was making it difficult for them to gain employment, etc.
What response did John Hoff and Megan Goodmundson give for refusing to remove their name from their site? In so many words, they have told people who pleaded with them to remove their names.... "Tough shit!"
Note: That is not a direct quote but, the opinion of this blog of the responses John & Megan have given.

Confirmed: John Hoff aka Johnny Northside is Active Duty

The question of where has Johnny Northside been, has been confirmed. Hoff enlisted in the US Army National Guard last summer as a Reservist. Meaning he would only need to report for drill duty one weekend per month and two weeks per year. When he went missing around late April, the questions started to surface... Where is Johnny Northside?

John switched units up to two times this spring in what is believed to be attempts to join a unit that was going to be deployed overseas for a one year tour of duty in Afghanistan, in order to have a reasonable reason to delay the much anticipated appeal to his highly publicized loss in court that he termed, "The Blogosphere Trial of the Century."
Hoff, now with a $60,000 judgement on his back, is looking to do anything to avoid having to admit he does not have the funds to file the appeal, even after begging the public on his blog and raising a whopping $360 in four months following his trial loss.

Before enlisting in the National Guard, Hoff had been seriously delinquent with his property taxes (he actually had not paid any taxes on his property since he bought it in early 2008) as well as his child support. In a signed document submitted to the judge hearing his case for his late child support, Hoff begged the court to "Have mercy!"
With a sizeable paycheck waiting for him after completing basic training, it was exactly what Hoff needed to be able to pay off his ex-wife and get his property taxes paid. Note: While his property taxes were paid, his house is still in serious violation for not completing TISH repairs that he agreeed, in writing to complete when he closed on his house in '08.

That brings us to the next point.

Now that it has been confirmed that John Hoff is currently listed and serving in active duty for the Army National Guard, his house must be vacant... Right?
WRONG!
It has been reported to this blog as well as others by readers that John Hoff's house at 2226 Bryant Ave. N, Minneapolis, MN. 55411 has had a "roommate" residing in the house. Minneapolis Housing regulations do not require a rental license if the owner is merely renting a room and still resides there.
With Hoff being active duty with the National Guard serves as proof that Hoff is no longer living in his house on Bryant Ave. North.

Since Hoff is not living in the house, he is required by the City of Minneapolis to obtain a rental license in order for him to legally rent his property to his tenant. The identity of the tenant is not known but, several readers have informed us that there has been a pick up truck parked in different places on the street in front of the house as well as on the side of the house and in back. The license plate number is: SHY 602

My question to the City of Minneapolis...
Why does John Hoff NOT have to obtain a rental license for his house now that he is not living there AND why has he been allowed to not complete the required TISH repairs as promised in 2008 and why has he not been fined for those violations?

If I was a resident or a landlord in an area that shows such favortism towards an absentee activist ($60,000 LOSING activist at that), I would be rather upset. I would suggest that some phone calls to the city leaders are in order but, it is widely known that the powers that be do not believe in playing by the rules.
Things like that is enough to make any citizen yell, scream and maybe hit something! Wait.... Yelling and screaming are one thing but, citizens would not resort to hitting anything or assaulting anyone. Especially a "Super Citizen!"

Northside Activists Hoff & Goodmundson: Breaking the Rules... And Laws (Stay Tuned)

It has been a little quiet lately in north Minneapolis and much of that is because, Johnny Northside aka John Hoff has not been paying much attention to his blog, The Adventures of Johnny Northside or his beloved north Minneapolis. Note: That is the same blog that made headlines in March when John Hoff made history by LOSING in court to Jerry Moore which resulted in the jury slapping Hoff with a Judgement of SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!  Now THAT is what I call a 60,000-time loser!

There is a good reason why John has not been paying much attention to NoMi or his blog. The faithful readers of the Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside have not forgotten about Hoff just yet as one reader has provided us with the reason and the proof of why John has been soooo distant. The next post will provide the public with that information and the proof to back it up.
Oh, I almost forgot... The very same information about John also happens to uncover some wrong-doing by Hoff in the process! If the city doesn't want to hold him accountable, or his city council buddies... It is only fair that the public knows about the special treatment he is getting while they have to pay.

We can't forget about No-Mi's number one "Super Citizen" and Hoff's girlfriend, Megan Goodmundson!
This blog, with the help of the Jordan Hawkman, uncovered the super-shady deal involving Megan's house on Newton Ave N. where she screwed the lender out of more than $100,000 when she let it go back to them in a foreclosure. The shady part was when Megan's parents swooped into town from Virginia and bought the house from the lender for a mere $32,000 while Megan had owed the bank around $160,000. We wonder if the bank knew the buyers just happened to be Megan's parents?

Back to the point though. Megan has made herself out to be some sort of modern day savior for north Minneapolis and after she  hooked up with Johnny Northside, he bragged about her on his blog and called her the "Super Citizen."
The Jordan Hawkman also found a few of her Judgements that are filed with the courts that her former credit card companies filed against her after she let the cards charge-off.
Well in an upcoming post, we will be posting the beautiful truth about one more side of Megan Goodmundson that I am sure she had hoped would never be discovered. Why would she worry about anything in her past coming back to haunt her? Afterall, you don't get to be a Super Citizen unless you stayed out of trouble. She volunteered to manage City Councilman Don Samuels election campaign a few years ago and surely, Don Samuels wouldn't ever let someone with a checkered past take on such an important role in the campaign.... Right?
It's the "Smoking Gun" that Megan will finally get to answer for. If she refuses to acknowledge questions this time as she always has, that is okay because, the "smoking gun" that was sent to the Mis-Adventures of Johnny Northside, will speak for itself just fine.
